I haven't got on complaints addressed even after calling 3-4 times. I don't have heating on since 2 months and its freezing in Pittsburgh. Do not choose Devon towers!"

"After staying at this place this year, here is how I will rate various things: The Good: 1) Location: Close to most grocery stores, on bus lines. Good location if you are a CMU/PIT student. 2) Heating: is fairly good in winters. 3) Parking: is free and plenty of space available. 4) Garbage disposal: Recycling stores and garbage chutes are quite convenient. Bad: 1) Rent: Overpriced. $1600+ for a 2BR apartment is a ripoff in my opinion, specially when the apartment has no special facilities such as gym or swimming pool that many others in this price range have. 2) Repair requests: No direct management on site. And requests are handled in a slow manner by dropping them in a hole. 3) Noise level: If you face the Centre Ave, the traffic noise would be high in the night. Ugly: 1) Thefts: Beware. Mail packages get stolen very frequently. We lost many. Even locked bikes were not spared with the frames and seats taken away (from inside the apartment). 2) Management etiquettes: The management won't give a day's notice to enter. They would simply barge in. Although, they would leave a note on the door saying they were in. Would I recommend this place to anyone? No. Better options are available nearby for way less money."

"They are a bunch of blackmailers. My sister leased an apartment, never extended the lease, but now they want us to pay the rent even after she has left the apartment. This is plain harassment. I am planning to take them to court. On top of that, this is the shittiest place in Pittsburgh, freezing cold in winters (heating system rarely works), and they are terribly overpriced. STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS PLACE."
