"We have lived at the Flats for more than ten years, in two different units, and really like it here. The apartments are charming, with great light, loft-like details and walk-in closets. As one of the few flat areas in Pittsburgh, the location works well for a wheelchair. There are elevators in two different entrances and covered parking (for a fee). Maintenance people are very responsive, and we like the way the current managers, Becky and Honesty, communicate with us — as valued residents, not inmates, as some management companies do. Having a handicapped button added to our security fob system at the street and parking entrances would make the place ideal."
