"DO NOT GET AN APT FOR OVER $1000 HERE!!! IT IS NOT WORTH IT AND YOU WILL GET LESS THAN WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Since I moved into this place, there has been problems and issues such as my window completely crumbling apart when I tried opening it, flies and bugs get in no matter how clean you are (I was gonna add gnats but to be fair I have a lot of plants). It took 3 men , 4-5 different visits for them to fix my window and 3 men to fix a sink (the first who tried fixing it said it should have been replaced before I moved in!). I also truly don't recommend BLACK people live here. No matter how nice you are or put together you keep yourself, the tenets are rude and not neighborly at all. If you are black, they won't think you live here and won't hold the door or the elevator when you have groceries, you can see the shock when you pull out your keys! The ONLY good thing about living here is the closeness to the city and the vending machine in the lobby. Other than that, DO NOT MOVE HERE ESPECIALLY IF PAYING OVER $1000. As soon as my lease is over I am out of here! Save yourself the time!"
"This is a bit late but we lived here in 2004 and had great fun. We moved from south and this was our first exposure to a place without central heating. This was an hotel it’s heydays. Very large rooms with tall ceilings. Loved it."
"So I enjoyed living here because I’m centrally located and very close to work. However, the rent is quite expensive for the quality of living. I’m all of a sudden having a roach problem which I have never had in my life and it’s making me uncomfortable to stay here. I work very hard to maintain my lifestyle here and I shouldn’t have to worry about getting fumigations and exterminators involved in a place I keep very clean and pay $1000 for. Also, people aren’t very friendly in this building at least the ones I’ve encountered. Highly disappointed in my experience thus far."
"Honestly not too bad. Overpriced but worth it for me. Cockroaches started popping up towards the end of my 2 year stay. But overall I will have fond memories of living in the morrowfield. The maintenance guys were always nice to me and my girlfriend. The standard of living in Pittsburgh is fair to good at best and this management company and apartment complex fall somewhere in that range. You practically sign away your life when you sign the lease but it seems mostly procedural as I was never bothered with extra expenses during my stay. Parking can be a struggle but there is value in the $50-a-month-for-the-3rd-floor-lot package. Lastly, I loved that I didn't have a security deposit upon move in."
"I lived here for two years under Mozart Management. I personally did not have any problems with them. I had two repair issues and they responded very quickly and took care of the issues. Most of the time that Mozart needed to enter my apartment, they gave me plenty of notice. Pros: Bus stop right in front of building. Squirrel Hill is a rather safe neighborhood. Apartment had tons of closet space! My apartment was located on the back of the building, and so the road noise was not too bad. Also, the temperature was relatively easy to regulate. I was never cold during the winter! Nice laundry facility - make sure to have $5 bills to get the special card needed to run the machines. Cons: Parking is horrible! Moving into and out of the building is not convenient. If you are a student and need to get out of your lease early, they will still charge you even if the apartment is re-rented. Shower water temperatures can fluctuate wildly. No concierge service, so packages are often left in the front entrance or on the floor - many times getting stolen. No gym. No porches or outdoor space. Overall, my experience there was OK. As long as the location is the most important thing to you, this apartment is fine to live in. It lacks other amenities and I would not choose to live there on a more permanent basis."
