"I’d give 0 stars if I could. Z trip leaves people stranded and doesn’t guarantee rides. Extremely poor communication and absolutely no empathy. Do yourself a favor and use ANY OTHER wheelchair transport in Pittsburgh. Stay far away from z trip if you need wheelchair transportation!"
"I scheduled a ride for a 90 y/o wheelchair user to be picked up at dialysis this evening, which is xmas eve. First of all, they wouldn’t take payment over the phone, which looking back, was probably a good thing because I’m sure they would’ve scammed me. The dialysis center closed at 5 tonight and his ride was scheduled for 4:30. No worries I thought. Until 5:30 I called the dialysis place to make sure they came. They didn’t. The worker at the dialysis place stayed late with him so he wasn’t sitting outside in the cold on xmas eve ALONE. Around 6:30 Z trip called me to tell me they were still looking for a driver, two hours after the scheduled pick up time. If it wasn’t for the kind worker, the 90 year old wheelchair using veteran would have had to sit outside in the cold alone on xmas eve. I called and canceled the ride and luckily was able to figure out other transportation. NEVER use this service. Listen to all of the other reviews. I will never recommend this company and wish there was a formal site to file a complaint. It is a crime to make an elderly man sit outside in the cold for 2+ hours, or however long it would’ve took them to come."
"Very good ride service. Especially if you want to pay in cash. Professional drivers that care. Ray is an excellent example! Very courteous and caring. He drives children to school in the morning for ztrip. Highly recommend!!"
"I called for a wheelchair van for my 96 year old mom to go to Christmas party a month ago and verified yesterday for a pick up today at noon. At 12:30 after I called them they let me know they were still looking for a driver. They never did send anyone. I don’t understand the idea of having a reservation but no one to provide the service. This is a terrible company with horrible customer service"
"Hailed car 219 at the airport. On the way home I could see his GPS was taking us a different way than the route to my house. When I told him to take the upcoming exit, he asked "is it back roads?". I said no and he said "I need to go the way I'm comfortable". We drove 3 extra exits down the highway to go "a way that he's comfortable" (it's not like he's been to my house). He pulled into my driveway which is about 65 yards long up a hill and has a turnaround halfway up and he tried to let me off at the bottom. I said no, take me the whole way to the house. Again "I'm not comfortable backing up like this". WHY ARE YOU DRIVING A CAB?! I started to pay on the meter and he cancelled it out saying I needed to give him cash or Venmo him. When I asked why he said "because that's how he runs his business.". I didn't feel comfortable doing that so I told him to call dispatch. He did and while we were on hold, he drove down to the bottom of my driveway (didn't have any problems doing that apparently). Dispatch told him I could pay however I wanted but also asked why the ride was so expensive. I told them he want a long unusual way to my house. He kept trying to focus the conversation to payment options and even when dispatch confirmed I can pay however I want, he wouldn't allow it. After 20 mins of this in my driveway at 1 am, I felt unsafe so paid and lugged my suitcases up the driveway in the rain. I tried to complain, zTrip said they'd escalate it to a manager for a refund and now nobody will call me back. Currently disputing the charge. Don't call a zTrip ever, especially for your safety."
