"Reserved a truck rental (Bridgeville/Collier store) days prior and received email (day of pickup) that my reservation is out of stock. Why allow me to CC deposit and hold a reservation???"
"Loves to hang up their phones before hearing any follow up questions about important matters with tools that are in need of repairs, especially from potential hard working customers. I’ll keep an eye on them next time."
"Went to rent some large equipment and a truck to tow it. Saw on their website that they had trucks with hitches if you needed to tow something. Was told in store “our trucks don’t tow.” Don’t come here looking for equipment if you don’t have a truck that can tow it."
"To start off I would like to point out that I am a Home Depot pro and I have my own plumbing business so I rent excavators enough that my business should be important to them (not that everyone’s business shouldn’t be important). Anyway they refused to pick up a machine on Tuesday because the driver said he couldn’t get it down a hill. You can see the tiny hill in the pictures. So rather than call me, I had to find this out by calling the rental place. They also complained it was too dirty so I pressure washed it and moved it into the driveway. I even called them and informed them that this had been done, 10 times. Five days after this and over a dozen phone calls the machine remained in my customers driveway. They finally picked it up after they were tired of hearing me complain. Then they charged me a cleaning fee. This machine was not clean enough for them. Either they expect it washed and waxed or they were trying to spite me for complaining about them not picking up the machine for five days. Either way it looks bad for them. I lost a customer over this and was made to look as unprofessional as they are. This is the biggest bunch of losers I’ve ever rented equipment from. I am fighting them and am looking to have the people responsible fired because it’s simply a matter of principle at this point. The pictures are posted. Am I wrong? Is this machine “caked in mud” as they described it? I will never even shop at Home Depot again, let alone rent there. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with equipment rental. These drivers should be thrown into crocodile infested water with their manager and replaced. I was harassed to become a “Home Depot pro,” which is seriously a joke then I’m treated like this when I try to use them instead of my normal rental place. F@!k you Home Depot, especially this Bridgeville one. If Lowe’s or the supply houses don’t have what I want, I’ll order online."
"I just called this store twice to rent a tool. I got hung up on TWICE. The first time I tried to use phone menu, there is no selection for tool rental, finally got a warm body on phone in tool rental who didn't hear me, so hung up. Second time I called I pressed zero, got tool rental dept transfer, rang and rang then hung up on me again!!!"
