84 Lumber

"Bought our kitchen cabinets from 84 lumber. They are made very nicely and the price was pretty good. Problem is when they submitted the design we gave them ( one a professional measured and drew up for us) 84 lumbers kitchen design team did not order the back of our kitchen island, and the sides of several cupboards came unfinished. First nobody answered our calls for a week. Then only at our persistance did two men come to our house to see the missing parts and order them for us a month later. First the parts would be in before Christmas, then January 12th. Then the 19th. Now not at all? 84 lumber blames the manufacturer for not sending them but the bottom line is 84 lumbers kitchen design team screwed up and an ex employee placed the order incorrectly. Now three months out we have no island, no backsplash, no microwave oven over our oven. All of it is held up pending these parts. We are left with an incomplete kitchen, no answers, and we paid the bill. DO NOT GET YOUR KITCHEN HERE. If it seems to good to be true...it is.Nobody here seems accountable for anything! Not even one were sorry your being inconvienced. Just finger pointing and no action. Greatly upset!!!!! No business should run this way! I would give ZERO stars if possible!"

"I called to ask about patio doors. If they had a specific model on the floor. The young man explained what they had, so I planned a stop. Once inside the door, I was greeted by a young man (failed to get his name as I was more focused on doors). He directed me upstairs via the stairs or elevator. I chose the stairs. After entering the showroom, no lights were on in the door area, so I helped myself to the switch. I looked at the doors I was interested in seeing BUT NO ONE approached to ask if I needed assistance. Two different men came into the area but both were taking phone calls. No pause with their call to ask if I needed assistance. I saw what I needed, and as I exited the building, 4-5 employees were on a "smoke break" just outside the front door. I'm not a smoker and try to avoid 2nd hand smoke as much as possible but had to walk right thru it. No one spoke a word to me to ask if I was taken care of. Such a shame that employees don't know how to be courteous & helpful. (Not sure if the young man who greeted me on arrival was with that group). Maybe I'm old school, but that's no way to gain customers."

"We just walked out of 84 Lumber in Bridgeville after standing there and waiting for an associate to help us. They looked up and never came over to the railings, which we were looking to buy. We had all intentions of buying today. I gave one star only because we saw something that we liked and wanted to buy. Terrible service!!!!!!!"

"I have never been in the presence of so many morons at 84 Lumber in Bridgeville in my life.yesterday I came down to buy two boxes of siding and one outside corner . They loaded my van with a machine put two boxes on the roof, after being there for 45 minutes. Next morning, i open the one box and it's white. Not clay as I purchased. I called them to have them bring out the correct box and take the other one back they refused to help me whatsoever, I'm 10 minutes away from them, they said they don't deliver on Saturday well this is not a delivery this is fixing something for a customer that paid money , they refuse to do it. So I loaded the box back up on top of my van and drove down there, waited 10 minutes before someone would come out from the back room to help me. Even though they knew I was on my way down.finally they said they pulled it and it's in the first garage to go down there I go down there there's no garage with siding in it I call them again from their own parking lot and say what the hell is going on here. Then he said they don't have anymore. Then after looking for another 5 minutes they finally found it.I'm sitting here now waiting for them to dig it out with a machine and it's been at least 15 minutes more.they said they could not bring it to my house because there was only two people working today so far I've counted five workers. There is absolutely no customer service whatsoever in my opinion now. I will never ever buy from 84 Lumber again . They don't give a s*** about you as a customer or making it right."
