"When our basement flooded, we went there to buy a pump. The staff was super nice and helpful, but the woman checking us out said we could exchange the pump if we needed a more powerful one. The pump we got was faulty, it spit water out the bottom instead of sucking it, so we brought it back within the hour to exchange. Turns out she was mistaken and if you want to return a water pump, you need to call the number or file a claim on the website. So we bought a bigger pump, which worked better, but because we had to open it immediately we couldn’t return and re-ring out the other pump to make it the difference. Now we gotta figure out how to get a refund for the fault one. Even though the staff and manager were super friendly and helpful, the whole experience was just confusing and frustrating."

"Old woman at the cashier doesn't know how to do her job unpleasant attitude, doesn't know how coupons work. Wastes my time and money. Doesn't know what kind of customers she is dealing with. Everyone else very helpful. Great location for new store but shouldn't have to go back for mistakes made at cashier."

"This is the good to place to save some money on tools. The tools are good enough for most residential uses and we use some on industrial sites as well. Expectations are one of those things that makes a difference here. Understand what you are buying and curb your expectations to match, and you'll never be disappointed."

Harbor Freight surprisingly has quality tools and wares so it just makes sense when it comes to tools and such. Also, I’m helping my local brick and mortar store and keeping people employed.
