"No big box store has washing machine shut off valves? Well, thank you, because this store did. Just so everyone is aware, all of these valves are the same and interchangeable because the adapter fitting is the same so this will attach without soldering a new one. If you have a leaking shut off valve (minus if its leaking from the soldered joint) you don't need to solder a new one on. You simply shut ur main off, obv, (if ur unaware of this step, go back to watching CNN), then unscrew the old valve, disassemble. Replace new o rings, install new unit onto old adapter fitting, and ur done. Why solder that piece if you don't need to? Works like a charm."
