"I absolutely loved living here. Kristin was the nicest manager and there were no other places to live in Slippery Rock that treated you as great as she did. I always felt safe and Kristin always helped me out whether it be finding a good garage when I needed work done on my car or going and checking on my apartment at 1 AM when I was away because my Alexa sent me alerts saying the smoke detectors were going off. Although I didn’t participate in it, she held thanksgiving for those who couldn’t go home, often had treats like pizza or donuts or all the residents and she checked on you personally if you put a work order in (like when my refrigerator quit working) making sure I still had food and that nothing went bad. I would choose to live here all the time if I could. There’s genuinely no other better place to live where you’ll feel safe and be treated so great than Campus Edge with Kristin."
"I'm a current resident of this property and I cannot give this place enough gold stars .I would give them 5000. I've lived at multiple apartment complex's during my time in Slippery Rock and this one takes the cake. The prices are extremely great especially for single living-- which there are not a lot of single living options in this town. The staff is unmatched, they actually take the time to treat you like a real human being and not just something to profit off of. Any time I have ever needed something from the Property Manager of the Maintenance Team it has gotten done in a professional and timely manner. Not only do they take great care of their residents they are also so welcoming of fur babies. I love it here and will continue to renew my lease for as long as I am in the Slippery Rock area! The property manager has always been nice to everyone no matter if the person was pink. She does NOT EVER have a rude or offensive side, she is like my mom away from home. ALWAYS LIVE HERE NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!!!!!! ITS THE NICEST CUTEST HAPPIEST PLACE TO LIVE!"
"Lived here almost three years ago. Clean facilities, but the manager is unprofessional and will try to get involved in your personal life and try and start drama between either you and your roommates or you and your romantic partner (in my/my friends’ experience). The smoke alarms above the stove always go off, I always got stung by bees on my way to do laundry due to bees nests in the outside hallways with nothing done to remove them, and my model was significantly smaller than the model I was shown, but I was charged the same amount per month for less square footage. Look elsewhere!"
"I’ve been living here since August 2021 now and I gotta say it’s a pretty nice place! Overall it’s usually quiet for the most part and a good apartment to stay at if you’re not a party type of person in college. Quick walk to campus as well! As long as you clean every week or few the apartments always look pretty nice and good. I’ve seen a few bad reviews on here talking about how the manager sends out “threatening”emails but to be honest, they really aren’t and are only directed towards the people who aren’t taking care of things/doing things they shouldn’t be at the apartment. After all there is more than one person that lives here and you can’t always know who does what the first day so it only makes sense to send out an email to all residents. As long as you keep your apartment clean, and don’t do anything that might destroy a part of the place, you’re fine and don’t have to worry about anything! The manager is super kind too and always says hello when you go to pick up a package. They also do send out emails when they have to do apartment inspections, that way you know that they may come in on a certain time and day. The inspections are needed too, for example for some reason my sink wouldn’t drain for a little but they were able to fix it for me and it works fine now! I don’t own a pet but they let a lot of people have pets here which is really nice too! My only complaints about here would have to be the paper thin walls, you can hear your neighbor at times and the smoke alarm being above the stove sometimes going off even when there isn’t a fire, although I do understand for safety reasons, but other than that I really love it here ! This is the first apartment and and place in general I’ve lived at on my own and honestly it’s a great first place to live."
"Honestly, if I could give this place zero stars I would. I honestly never speak my opinion on places or leave reviews. Although Campus Edge has struck a nerve that forced me to warn everyone thinking about living here. All they want to do is rob you of your money even though we are mostly all college students. The walls are paper thin and you can hear word for word what your neighbor is saying or their loud music. You complain to management and they do nothing about it. Then when you move in they do not give you an option to do a move-in checklist of all the thing wrong in your apartment. Right when you move out they will charge you for “ miscellaneous” items that were already broken or dirty whenever you first move in. Also, they charge different residents different prices for the EXACT SAME apartment that you have. My friend had the same apartment as me and his rent was $600 while mine was $700. I paid over $1,200 more than he did for the same unit. Whatever you do find a better place to live than here."
