Stone Crest Apartments

"My roommates and I have lived at South Rock for 2 years now and absolutely love it. Our apartment is nice and spacious and we love having the balcony, which a lot of apartments in the area do not have! The fact that the apartment comes fully furnished made it such an easy move, which we all appreciated! We live at Old South Rock, which is right across from campus. This is a great option if you would like to walk to class in a short amount of time. The management staff are very nice, and they even go out of their way to supply the residents with free breakfast Friday, holiday treats/activities, interactive prizes on social media, and more! If you ever have an issue with your apartment, the maintenance staff is very quick to respond and are very friendly throughout the process. We made such a good decision to live here at South Rock and will miss it when we graduate!"

"I currently live at Stonecrest Apartments and I haven't had any issues with the place. I personally think it's the nicest apartment complex in Slippery Rock. The apartments feel very 'homey' and not like a college apartment complex. The complex is fairly quiet at night, with no loud parties, which is something that I was really looking for in an apartment! Management has always been very quick to respond to any issues I have and always have an answer to any question I have. Overall great place to live at."

"This is my second year living at Stone Crest Apartments. Chelsea and all the ladies in the office are very sweet and made it so easy to do the lease each year. Two years ago, I was in desperate need of a place off campus because the rock apartments got filled so fast on campus and we didn’t have four roommates at the time. Every place I kept getting turned down because I have a Boxer breed dog. They gave me no issues with having my pet and I like that they don’t discriminate against breeds of dogs you can have at the apartments like other places do in slippery rock. The apartment was so clean when we moved in and it’s updated apartments without being overly expensive. We only pay for electric and there is a cap on everything else cable and internet are provided and there is a washer in dryer in the apartment! Each year the ladies in the office hold events like free breakfast Fridays and chances to win prizes! Any time we have a maintenance issue they respond quickly, even replaced the shower head in my roommate bathroom when we first moved in. Just call between normal business hours for Maintence request or make it online it’s so easy. Also, rent you can pay online, which I like because I just log in before the last of the month and pay it, but it nice you can upload as much money as you want. Parking is never a problem as they have parking passes. I wish they had guest passes for family members that need to drop stuff off but they can park near by the apartments because there is parking. I tell all my friends about living here and how much I enjoy it and I even have had friends move in that love it here. When I resigned they even cut a little off rent which is amazing!!"

"This is my second year living at Stone Crest Apts. in a 2 person apt., and the only thing I wished we had was a mail box, however we can still receive packages to our door. Overall, this was a great place for me to live because it is close enough to walk to campus, is pet friendly, and is the perfect price! When I moved in it was very clean and they offered extra cleaning services just incase it wasn't clean enough for our standards. The ladies that work in the office are also very nice and help as much as they can if an issue arises."

"The apartments are nice but the management is horrible. Lived here for 3 years and had to move due to a roommate threatening my well being and even found someone willing to switch will me so I wasn’t vacating the lease. They charged me and the girl $300 on top of $200 administrative fees. On top of that I am already paying the $600 a month for the apartment. The other girl who was kind enough to to switch with me was also charged $300! I had to pay for hers too because I wasn’t going to let someone who was helping me out in a terrible situation get stuck with those fees too. You would think a leasing company would have morals to help you get out of a situation that caused mental and physical harm but all they wanted was more money."
