"This one at the waterfront seems to have a good selection of yarns, paints, frames and canvas. The clearance isle is always overflowing. People in Pittsburgh aren't crafty. We just pretend and forget. So there is always a huge selection of things down there."

"I recently brought in diploma frame that was sliding in its frame. After meeting with Ed in the framing department he assured me that he would get it fixed. Not only did he repair the framing he adjusted the back to wire hanging to make it easier to display in our home. He also had me bring in the other diploma we had done at the same time to readjust and ensure it wouldn’t do the same. Ed was quick, communicative, and extremely kind. I would 100% recommend Ed in the Michaels framing department if you need a job done right!"

"I have to say I have never been in a Michaels store anywhere that was as clean and as well organized as the one in Pittsburgh at the Waterfront!!! Mind you, this was on Black Friday at 9:30p.m -they were open until 10:00 pm. There was nothing just laying on floor or messy shelves. I was a little upset because we got there so late. I am in an electronic wheelchair so do not move fast, and we were only customers in store. The gentleman that was there by the name of of Patrick was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed. He told us to take our time. I am sure he was looking forward to closing store and heading home. I headed to back of store for some yarn. I finally found what I was looking for. Then moved toward Christmas items. By this time it was almost ten, Patrick asked if he could help up find something. We asked if he wanted us to checkout and he said no take as long as you want. We went thru Christmas items and found what we wanted. It was now after ten and I forgot I needed to look for one more item. I found it and finally got to checkout about 10:15. Patrick asked if we found everything and I replied probably not. He said let me know when done. We said it was after 10:00 and he said don't worry about it. We said we could come back and had him check us out. Never once did he seem mad or upset that we kept him after closing. I will definitely go back to that Michaels again‼️‼️. Thank you Michaels for having such a dedicated and pleasant employee. I hope he has a very joyous Christmas (holiday) Season. Please if you are at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh stop and visit this store."

"Great variety of supplies for knitting, crocheting and embroidery. Lots of different textures and colored yarns at a reasonable price. Loved it!"

"They have a lot of items for arts and crafts supplies. If you’re an artisan or art enthusiast, you’ll definitely find anything that you’re looking for. My only disappointment with this store was their carts. All of them had some sort of issue that didn’t let me shop while carrying my daughter in a car seat."
