"I recently went in to the Silver Spring office (on Rt 29) for my initial appointment as a referral from my general practitioner doctor. I spent a good chunk of the night before filling out the very long medical history questionnaire and printing out copies of my previous blood tests. When I checked in, the people at the front desk took the questionnaire and blood test printouts. They didn't say anything but I assume they took them to file them and/or scan them into the computer. When it came time for my initial appointment, a physicians assistant came in to review my medical history (ie., why was I there?). She was very knowledgeable and had great communications skills, but she did *not* have my filled out medical history form or blood tests (and she had not previously reviewed them) Similarly, when Dr Sharma came in, he seemed extremely competent and experienced, but it was clear he had also not reviewed my medical history or blood test printouts. He did get a good summary from the physicians assistant though. I said I had handed all this paperwork in to the front desk, but nobody wanted to take the time to get that info On the way out, I complained about this to the person at the front desk, but she didn't respond. In interpreted that as a "I'm too busy, not my job" response. She was really busy and I sort of don't blame her. I know this was a low cost visit paid for by my insurance (and my problem was pretty mild) but at the very least, the physician's assistant should've highlighted key items in the medical history questionnaire for the doctor to review for the initial visit."
"Walked in at 4:12pm to make a new pt appointment, this lady from the front desk has the worst manners ever, shouldn’t even be there. Asked if I could make an appointment she said “Uh no I’m in a meeting right now” while nodding her head all around. Closing time is @5pm I mentioned how I been calling all day and haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone, she said “yeah the phones are down” … weird, the whole day? Closing is at 5pm that’s why I went in person. Even asked if I could come in because the light were off and the door was unlocked, when I walked away after her responding rudely, she came out to lock the door and slammed it. Again… website says closing is @5pm or else I wouldn’t have shown. It’s the fact that these type of ppl join the medical field to help people and have the worst manners ever."
"Worst doctor office I’ve ever experienced, since I’ve been accepted into this office and receiving treatments I HAVE NEVER BEEN SEEN ON TIME. I’ve always waited for at least an hour plus and more. Every time I would ask what’s going on the response would be “waiting for chairs to open, etc…” There have been MULTIPLE TIMES where I would come in and patients who would come in after me would be seen before me and I know in fact they are receiving the same treatment I am. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. The lack of urgency is ridiculous. I worked in healthcare before and I understand delays occasionally but this is a consistent issue with this office. If I didn’t need the treatment for the sake of my health and daughter treatment. I would never come to this place or recommend it to anyone."
"Whatever you do do not go to the DC location. Front desk is rude when you go to the back office they don’t know what’s going on. No type of communication."
"Marykate Morcerf,CRNP is both caring and knowledgeable. Her bedside manner is beyond compare. She took the time to make sure we were fully comfortable and well educated in our care plan. She is well worth the drive from Annapolis. She deserves a 100 stars."
