"Dr. Jacobs is a very caring, compassionate, comprehensive, & competent oncologist. Put yourself in her hands with great confidence."
"Dr. Okoye and staff are amazing. They are kind, caring and absolutely wonderful at making you comfortable, all while delivering outstanding medical care."
"The front desk employees are very rude and disrespectful. These ladies are obviously not employed by Mercy Hospital but rather subcontracted Med Star employees who have bad attitudes lacking compassion and empathy. Tim is the only technologist who was competent enough to handle the complexity of my Dads treatments. On several occasions it took at least an hour for certain technologists to get him positioned properly before they could even start his radiation treatment which only lasted about 30 minutes. And don’t ask to use the bathroom because they would rather you soil your clothes and just send you home in a pair of scrubs than be inconvenienced. We were not allowed to sit in the waiting area. The technologist calls the family to come back and get the patient. We resorted to sitting on the floor in the hallway because the technologist continuously neglected to call. My father has dementia and we were denied the right to be present in the room during the once a week exam by the oncologist. Dr. Jacobs and her staff claim the rooms are too small to have his wheelchair and 1 other person present. I know the law mandates that all medical facilities provide wheelchair accessible areas and larger rooms to accommodate patients with disabilities. Dr. Jacobs is not very personable and lacks integrity. As a medical professional working in this field myself I am discouraged by your lack of professionalism."
"The technicians are not patient friendly at all... especially when the patients are there for the type of treatments they are there for. You are there daily for X # of treatments, And When you have to drive a distance to start with they are NOT considerate of people's time in any way shape or form!!!!!!"
