"I understand the ER at Hopkins Bayview is a trauma center; however, I was in the ER with my sister for NINE hours before she was even seen by a doctor (still waiting as I write this review). Other patients mentioned they’d been there for 10-12 hours and a nurse stated that some patients are in the ER for TWENTY FOUR HOURS, and that’s the norm across ERs in the area. ! I’m sorry, unacceptable. The chairs are uncomfortable and there are scarce outlets to charge phones, in case people need to stay in touch with relatives or do something to pass the extreme amount of time. It is my hope that Bayview would more efficiently serve all levels of patients."

"Stacie Watson from the environmental care working is very hard-working, professional, and very detailed at her job. Both times that my mother was kept at the hospital after her surgery, she took her time to assist With cleaning and managing of the room. She’s very friendly, and I appreciate all her work. Sometimes you can leave the hospital feeling more sick than when you came in especially with all the germs. But her work ethic minimizes that risk. Thank you so much!"

"Worst emergency room ever, had metal stuck in my eye , never got seen sat there for 6 hours then left. I wasn't a priority...there were fights people sitting around everywhere, people sleeping on the floors. Seriously the worst."

"I just want to say that I would be dead today if it were not for the emergency, ICU, critical care. I am so indebted to John Hopkins, Bayview. It is unreal. I am so thankful to them. I can’t say thank you enough because honest to God, I would be dead today and that is so real. I thank you so much for taking care of me. The way you did. Your staff is amazing. The doctors in the ICU were amazing. The nurse staff amazing third floor staff. Amazing. I cannot say enough and I just thank you all so much."

"Labor/Delivery/Maternity. I had a cesarean section on 02/12/23. I was hospitalized Saturday/Sunday/Monday. I am grateful to all the team that was attended, the doctors and nurses were very professional and attentive! But in especial I’d like let my gratitude for Hannah Black, a nurse, I was extremely admired and grateful for her work and patience with me. She did all the help that I asked and more, even to remove the blood in the blood vein, she checked my vein several minutes beforehand to see where it would be best. What most professionals take just one look at and the patient is already punctured. With my bandages and probe she was extremely gentle and afraid of hurting me! An incredible nurse! She has the gift of nursing and taking care of people! I speak little English, even on this item she was very patient with me. She deserves all the success in the world and the hospital is a huge honor to have you on her team! Congratulations to Hannah Black for her wonderful gift and professionalism! Forever grateful!
