"I was initially excited about seeing Dr. Witowski for marriage counseling, but after 2 visits, I was deeply disappointed. She appeared to be biased and one-sided. I know it's normal for one partner to believe that but it was obvious. Examples include her attempting to help finish my partner's sentence with very negative behavior that even my partner had to deny on two occasions, literally shaking her head and sucking her teeth while taking notes as she repeats my partner's complaint about me that was related to info I self reported verbally and in writing prior to starting counseling. When I reported the history of violence inflicted upon me I was told by Dr. Witkowski how much my partner regretted that behavior, end of discussion. Very dissapointed and I write this to inform others."

"I was a client for many years. After a short time of not going, I was told Mary couldn’t take new clients. I wasn’t a new client. I was a faithful paying client. Knowing that part of my issue was with abandonment, I was essentially abandoned. While I was going I would’ve given more stars. She helped me and my husband and started with my daughter, but this place is disrespectful and doesn’t care about clients. I’ve sent several emails after being promised that maybe someone else could pick up my sessions. For 3 years not a peep. I wasn’t given a reason for why I couldn’t be seen anymore. I found out later was due to a personal health issue with her husband which I totally get. But I wasn’t told by them but by a member of the church. No letters were mailed etc. When I did finally talk to Mary she said she’d send my records to another counselor. That was 3 years ago. I send appt requests and they never respond. This organization is again a disrespectful and unorganized."

"I called this office 4-5 times for the past two weeks to schedule an appointment. Once or twice I left a message. Every other time I called I spoke to a gentleman who kept telling me he was going to have the therapist (Kim Witkowski) call or email me to set up an appointment. It never happened after all my phone calls. Once the gentleman even called me to tell me she was getting out of a meeting and would call me when she was done. Never happened. This is horrible customer service, and they are dealing with people who need help. Now I am at square one, trying to find a therapist. I had to waste my time calling this place. Do not schedule an appointment here. They don’t care about people."

"We had 3 sessions and not a word of anything spiritual was mentioned. In the 3rd session , I mentioned we signed up for Christian Counseling and I was confused why God hasn't been in the conversation. I was told , "well , God is in our everyday life" , and I was accused by the counselor that I wanted him to pick sides , and he interrupted as I was sharing. A completely different experience from other Christian Counseling in Columbia. No reference to scripture , no spiritual guidance , and no compassion. I called Director , and he didn't return my call. I am not returning , I thought it would be a safe place to deal with some trauma issues , but they are not as they advertise."
