"We booked at intake appointment, and had to reschedule due to our children being sick. We gave as much notice as we could (albeit we had to cancel same day) and tried to reschedule, but we were charged $100 cancellation fee. We were brand new potential clients just trying to see if this practice would be a good fit for us. We could not believe how quickly we were charged a cancellation fee and how unwilling the practice was to be understanding of our circumstances. For a therapy practice that is supposed to reduce stress and anxiety, our interaction only lead to more stress, and to the loss of $100. We understand that they need to protect themselves with a reasonable cancellation policy, but this was nothing but reasonable. No consideration, no flexibility, no grace. Very disappointing. Beware!"

I feel like they didn't even try going through my insurance, just billed me for the entire 200 dollars, for an introductory session where I heard the person say "that must be hard" several times to my partner and that's about it. Didn't seem trained or very caring. We sought here because I heard it was lgbtqia+ inclusive. Please look elsewhere for your mental health needs. Also take a look at the yelp review too."
