"It's very difficult to get an appt by phone. I've spent a whole week trying to make an appt but there's only 1 receptionist. I called twice a day M-F and was put on hold anywhere from 28 mins - 46 mins. Yes I timed it! I finally WENT to Potomac Valley PT office and waited over an hour for the 1 receptionist to make an appt before leaving in frustration! Apparently others had the same idea & were waiting to make appts too bc they couldn't reach them by phone. They look like they have an excellent, modern facility but are understaffed w 2 medical assistants acting on behalf of the 3 physical therapists working there part-time. No offense, but MA's are not physical therapists! I feel sorry for the receptionist who handles all the upset patients! Also Dr Sethi the owner of PT who is ortho surgeon across the hall —is rude, condescending, yells at his patients, makes you come in just to get an MRI order or PT order and for another X-ray at the office. He doesn't evaluate, prescribe tests or answer questions in ONE appt. ONE issue per appt I was told. For instance, my neck and shoulder hurt TOGETHER yet I was ordered to make an appt to look at one complaint at a time even tho in my opinion, they are one and the same injury! That screams of "more money please"!! Very nice, modern, even fancy office in Olney w convenient PT across the reception area — but that doesn't matter unless you can make an appt and have good quality care! Looking for another PT!"
