"i am so glad that 34 of you had pleasant experiences with Free Baltimore, I wish i could say the same. Unfortunately i was stood up by their “professionals” twice with scheduled sessions and when brought to their attention they showed little empathy and instead made excuses for their staff and poor communication. My partner also utilizes Free Baltimore’s therapy resource and had a session last week where her therapist never showed up & didn’t reach out to her until 4 days later!! When working with such vulnerable clientele i truly feel that this is unacceptable and thank God it was neither of our breaking points. But for this to be my first time really trying to take control of my mental health, these experiences were more than discouraging. To feel unheard all of your life and finally find the courage to speak and get help and then be forgotten by the people who are compensated and licensed to listen and help you is just… I am writing this review simply to hold them accountable in hopes that they will improve their professionalism and communication because quite frankly- lives ARE at risk.
