"My brother recently had an experience at Silver Spring Dental Care, and while the front office staff was exceptionally nice and professional, there was a significant drawback with one of the dentists. Unfortunately, I don't even know his name as he didn't introduce himself, which was off-putting from the start. During the appointment, this particular dentist made my brother feel powerless. He entered the room, injected the anesthesia without allowing time for it to take effect, and began the procedure abruptly. The lack of communication and consideration left my brother in shock, unable to react appropriately. It's worth noting that this dentist was covering for my brother's regular dentist, who has always provided excellent care. The stark contrast in the experiences with these two dentists raises concerns about the substitute dentist's approach and bedside manner. While the front office staff was commendable, the negative encounter with the substitute dentist significantly impacted the overall perception of the practice. Communication and patient comfort are crucial aspects that should be consistently prioritized across all dental professionals in the office."
