"Update: Thank you for the response. When I called for the service for the pilot light, it already turned off two times pretty consecutively. On the phone, I was told that two times in a row is not normal which is why I decided to get the service. I guess I was pretty disappointed that the technician did not spend enough time trying to diagnose the issue. Main time was spent on making the diagnosis video that the meter is not working properly which water company disagrees with. Finally found out what the problem was. A wrong water heater model type was installed which is probably why the pilot light and the water meter was acting up. It is definitely the installer's fault but I am still surprised that the VITO technician was not able to see that right away when he came to a visit. I paid $150 for a misdiagnosis and had to get someone else to diagnose the issue properly. ---------------------------------------------- Original: I got recommended for VITO Services by my condo HOA. I had a technician come by due to two issues: pilot light on my new water heater turning off TWO times and high water bills. He stated that the pilot light turning off is due to wind even though I stated that this has not happened with the old water heater. The pilot light went off again after his visit and I had to call another plumber who is going to replace a part. If that works, I will update the review and give them 1 star. With high water bills, the technician checked the condo (as I did) and was sure at first that it was leaky toilet. After I explained that I already checked that, he checked again. He confirmed that he does not see any leaks. I was surprised that he did the same inspection as myself (I was hoping there would be some special way to inspect leaks and faulty meter) and then concluded that the meter is faulty. The water company is stating that the meter is working properly. This is frustrating--either one of them is wrong or there is another possible reason that no one is suspecting. I respect professionals and will pay for services. The sole reason for a low review is that after the visit, I am still left with the same problems that I was seeking resolutions. Hopefully, I can resolve these two issues and will be able to update the review to higher or lower rating depending on who is right."

"We hired these guys to do a boiler replacement. They were great to work with -- friendly, good-humored, trustworthy. To start, they provided the most reasonable bid, which is why we hired them. They clearly communicated what our needs were and presented us with a good-quality option. They were flexible in scheduling (as we had to work around remodeling and many of the issues that presented) and always willing to fit us in, sometimes with only 24 hours' notice. Time will tell, but their workmanship seems to be on point."

"A different contractor (not Vito) renovated our house including the replacement of our HVAC system and much of the duct work. During the first summer after completion we noticed water leaking from the ceiling in several areas from condensation in our ducts. Our original contractor couldn’t solve the problem. A friend recommended Vito. A team of people came out and diagnosed our problem. Turns out the contractor installed air returns that were too small for the system and we weren’t getting enough air in the system. Vito came up with a multi-prong solution that addressed the problem. Unfortunately, the following summer, we had condensation in one area of the ducts Vito didn’t wrap the previous summer. We were concerned that this was going to cost us even more money. But, we called Vito and they sent someone out right away to take a look. They fixed the problem same day and didn’t charge us for the additional work. Tom and his team were smart and professional, and they stood by their original work and promise to fix the problem. Thanks Vito!"
