"I had the most horrible unprofessional experience with Titus Appliances. They told me that my cold water was turned off when I know that it wasn’t. I have been washing prior to that so unless a ghost turned it off, it was not turned off. They told the warranty company that I needed a timer and that they were ordering it. They are scamming the warranty company. The warranty company is desperate for service people in order to keep them contracted. This company is a scam and a joke. Please do not use them for anything."
"My experience was identical to all others who left 1 star reviews. For some poor unexplained reason - my home warranty company contracted the work out to Titus. They showed up to diagnose the issue with my washing machine. No communication beforehand to confirm the initial visit. They showed up for, spent literally 5 mins and said we know the problem and will contact your home warranty company to have them approve the work and order replacement parts. That’s where it ended. One week passed and nothing. My warranty company said they attempted to contact them numerous times and nothing. I called/txted for 4 days straight - nothing. Came to google and sure enough, same story. Luckily they assigned the job to another company. 3 weeks later I get a random txt asking when I’d like to schedule the repair work. Joke would have been on me. Don’t even want to think how that would have turned out."
"Scheduled my appointment (10am-12pm) days ahead because of my own job, the day of my appointment the gentleman calls me to reschedule the same day for 3pm-5pm I said okay. They never showed up, called back or answered my call. They do not value any of their customers."
"My home warranty company had me use Titus. It took a long time to get a hold of them to verify an appointment and then he never showed up. The voicemail is full and they don't answer the phone. They tell you to text but the never answered me. Never called to cancel. Just completely ghosted me."
"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Contacted our home warranty company, Cinch Home Warranty, after our washing machine broke just after moving into our new house. Cinch Home Repair contracted the repair out to Titus Appliance Repair. After a full week and a half of no response from Titus Appliance Repair, they finally "diagnosed" washing machine issue via texted photos. They never came out to diagnose the issue even though they reported to Cinch Home Warranty that they had (and were paid for that home visit). We were told that our washing machine needed a new transmission and that the part was ordered and it would take a week to get in. After a week and no word from Titus Appliance Repair, we contacted them again to follow-up on our ordered part. An appointment was scheduled for them to come out and replace it. They cancelled the day before the first appointment and rescheduled it for the following day. They showed up 4 hours after the scheduled appointment window. About 30 minutes into the appointment, they told me they needed to run to Home Depot to get a "part". They were gone for an hour, and wrapped up the appointment within 20 minutes of returning. I could hear banging and drilling in the laundry room, so I assumed that the repair had been successfully completed. They told us to not use the washing machine for a day since they had to use sealant. This was confusing since the broken part was the transmission and no sealant should have been required for the repair. We ran the washing machine the next day, and by the time we checked on it, it had FLOODED OUR ENTIRE BASEMENT. The impeller was floating in the washing machine and we could clearly see how they had "fixed" the broken transmission...WITH GLUE. They had NEVER replaced the broken transmission with the new one. Instead they glued the impeller to the broken transmission. They clearly did not need to get a part at Home Depot and who knows what the banging and drilling was for. At this point we had been dealing with Titus Appliance Repair for over a month and were beyond frustrated with the process. I think this company is a total scam and I'm not sure why Cinch Home Repair uses them for their appliance repair work. They are impossible to get in contact with and clearly do not know what they are doing when it comes to appliance repair. We were lied to about the repair and in the end they caused us more damage than we started with. I couldn't stress more our level of frustration with this company. Do not use Titus Appliance Repair and do not get a Cinch Home Warranty! Giving them one star was generous."
