"These guys have some pretty heavy handed business practices and the prices are high. I had Service Today and moved to another smaller local company then they bought them and I ended back with them by default. Be careful with the maintenance contracts. They are more about you paying them to come generate quotes for stuff outside the contract than doing your system any good. They quoted me $550 to fix a leaking fitting near my water heater, a local plumber fixed it for $95"

"Richard did a great job installing the kitchen faucet but I probably will not call Service today as my first choice .Today was a practice run for future plumbing work - bathroom work and switch to a tankless water heater but $545.00 to install a owner supplied faucet is pushing the limit. Nothing special just plug and go . Co worker mention them so I called . I know I could have said no or did it myself but didn't. Another day without a kitchen sink was not on the table . I was hoping to see a itemized bill when I got it but just install information , no break downs ."

"This company is a FRAUD. Stay away. On November 29th they sent a technician to check my HVAC system because it was blowing cold air. He charged me $194. I want a full refund immediately. First, he told me the Google Nest Thermostat I have — 18 months old was a defect. And the technician told me the company would charge nearly $700 to replace the thermostat. That was my first red flag that the service was a SCAM. Second, he said I had no warranty on an HVAC system that’s just 5 years old and found 1 million things that was wrong with it per his FAKE diagnosis. He quoted me almost $3000 for repairing a system that is perfectly fine and that costs just $3500 brand new. That was my second red flag that your company is a FRAUD. When I reached home the next day, I reset the thermostat and within minutes everything was running smoothly and perfectly. For a company (Service Today Inc) to be going outer and ripping off people just like that is unacceptable. They do not do honest and competent job. What they do is to scare customers and rip them off to pad their pocket. Stay away from them if you do not want to be scammed."

"Called to have an outdoor spigot replaced …. They charged me $525 to replace the spigot , after calling them wanting to know why it cost so much, they said they were unable to break the bill down , and they weren’t sure how they came up with that number … on top of that , they did not follow instructions on contacting me by phone , instead of going inside and bothering my sick wife .. the quality of work by the technician seemed good , although the part ended up leaking again ( at no fault of the technician). They came back out and got it fixed the next day.. no complaints on the quality of work , or response time . My only beef was the cost of a simple repair , and thier inability to communicate with me what it was I paid for . The technician was in , and out within 1 hr , a high end outdoor spigot at the absolute most expensive is $100, $49 service call, …. so their hourly rate is $376/hr?? Will not be calling them anymore"
