"Part 2: A couple of years later, had another successful interaction with Wuerstlin's Appliance. My dishwasher started making a mechanical noise, and I was afraid that was the end of its lifecycle. Wuerstlin's came out and identified a piece of plastic from a food package that had made its way into the pump. For just the cost of the service fee and a modest charge, my dishwasher is now back up and running. Thank you, Wuerstlin's! Part 1: Mike came out to repair our dishwasher and I was extremely impressed. He was on time, knowledgeable, and was thorough in diagnosing the problem. Prior to Mike's visit, I reached out to the appliance store where I bought the dishwasher. That "service call" involved waiting a week for an appointment and then having the service person barely inspect the dishwasher before telling me it was the board (which needed to be ordered, another week at least), and that it would be ridiculously expensive to repair, on top of the "service call" fee. I wish I had called Wuerstlin's right off the bat, because Mike came within days, did a thorough inspection of all parts of the dishwasher to diagnose the problem, and identified a broken wire that he readily repaired. I liked that he looked for the most obvious (and least expensive to fix) problem first, rather than assuming something more complex (and expensive) as the other company did. The total cost from Wuerstlin's ended up being about a third of what the other company quoted. I felt confident in Mike's work, found him extremely honest, and would recommend Wuerstlin's to anyone needing an appliance repaired."
