"Destroyed family heirloom - replaced beveled glass and quality parts with cheap alternatives. Cashed check immediately."
"Took my 100 yr old mantle clock to this guy he had my clock 6 mon went to pick up clock paid $ 190.00 got clock home never worked took clock back as advised by this guy he had my clock several weeks when I picked clock up second time paid another$80.00 clock was stripped of all the internal parts and the beveled glass on front was replaced with plain flat window glass the chime did not work the pendulum was inter changed and was given a generic pendulum. And the receipt wasn’t even in my name it was a Mr. Ranneberger ( hopefully he got his original click back with the original parts) . I will never take anything to this guy for wk. Unfortunately my mantle clock is ruined. JUST A WARNING!"
"This guy is one weirdo. Dad and I brought him a clock and when I got it back it had a different base. It was a Schatz clock that he must have removed my base and switched his clock base that he had for sale in his shop that I saw when I dropped it off to repair, which his had a large crack in it. SAME EXACT CLOCK! Dad marked our original clock before letting him repair ours, to see if he would be honest with our repair since my 80 yrs old father collected clocks and he was a victim of switching parts. Sure enough we got it back and it was switched out for his that had the crack. When confronted, he gave our money back with no questions. NOT HONEST AND SWITCHES OUT PARTS! BE WARNED!"
"Clock broke. Paid $180.00 to fix. Had problems immediately. Never answered the phone or returns calls. Clock ?????? His initial repair 5 yrs ago was good. I paid by check and it’s a tail light warranty."
"Couldn't be happier. Last yr. I paid a company to balance and maintenance our grandfather clock. It had not worked in yrs. The maintenance was a couple hundred dollars and they had to come back for another $180.00 I moved to Boonsboro and the clock had broken again. Dave the owner disassembled the clock and indicated it wasn't done right at all. He meticulously oiled every moving part and gear by hand. He found the problem and has it working like new. Oil and a check up every 5 yrs and who knows how long it will last? Dave says quite a while. He has 28 yrs of experience and a passion for his work. Highly recommend him. His cost and time was most reasonable."
