"I contacted Mike of Callahan Improvements to do some grading / landscaping to fix standing water and drainage issues in my back yard in 2020, which was an extremely wet year for our area. Mike came out multiple times after rainstorms to check the water conditions in our yard to determine the best way to fix the problem and present options. Unfortunately, our yard never dried out enough last year to do the grading but he did complete a couple of other smaller jobs in the yard for me. This summer, Mike was unable to do the grading due to other commitments, but recommended someone to complete that part of the work since he knew how anxious I was to get it done. He recently finished landscaping several areas in by adding native shrubs and trees to help with any further water issues and advised me on what type of plants I could add on my own in the Spring to fill in the fall plantings. Mike was always easy to contact and quick to return calls or texts. He very conscientiously pointed out options at different price points and advised on where it would best to spend my money.
