"After 13 hours and a complete assembly and disassembly of my deck repair it's still not finished. although the tech wanted 2k for work done. He then admitted that it wasnt properly repaired which started the 4 hour removal of all hardware while he smashed with his hammer and a crow bar trying to level everything. I haven't paid a nickel and wont unless it's done properly. I'm told the office will contact me to discuss his return to complete the job. Think I might have it evaluated by an independent company to make sure it's even worth continuing. Glad I didnt pay anything yet. 7-11-19. Tech returned needing " a couple of hours " to fix/finish the job. After 5 hours it was completed. I'll give credit where it's due, it was sturdy and level, but still lacking the finish detail that you get from a true contractor. Honestly, with the amount of money that changed hands, a true contractor is the route I will go next time. Live and learn. But I have to raise the stars from 1 to 3 because he did come back and live up to his word."
