"Flowers were gorgeous and I want to start there, because it needs to be said. However, May was terrible to work with. The flowers were for our wedding and when we called the day before (a few hours before we had agreed to pick them up) to see when they would be ready, we were told they would not be ready. I had to pick up the flowers 2 hours before I got married. When I called ask for some sort of discount for this huge inconvenience (I showed up to the flower shop in my wedding suit, btw), May was extremely rude and actually hung up on me. She did give us one corsage for free, so that’s something. That and the fact that the flowers were stunning are why this isn’t a one star review. I’d say, if you’re going to work with Mayflowers, keep on top of them, make sure you have everything in writing, and call multiple times the week before. I think if you did this, you’d be super happy, but unfortunately we weren’t. This was like the biggest stressor for my wife on our wedding day. Edit: still haven’t been reimbursed, removing a star."

Since then, the owner, May, has graciously customized my package so that I pick up my order (rather than getting delivery) and bring in my own vases (rather getting new ones each time); these adjustments made it possible for me to get top-notch arrangements each month at an affordable price. And it's so much better, because May knows the sorts of flowers and colors that my family likes, and because it means the vases are personal to us. High marks all around."
