Marino, who holds a BA in Russian Studies from Mason, is currently the director of class giving at Columbia University.
The Alan Cheuse International Writers Center at Mason will be hosting an event featuring four poets discussing their work in light of the struggles faced by Ukrainians. This anthology, edited by Carolyn Forché and Ilya Kaminsky, serves as a beacon of hope and determination for Ukrainians in their fight for democracy.
