"I really had high hopes for Neama's, but this place was a letdown. My girlfriend and I came for a quick dinner before a show at the Appell Center. The service was slow despite there only being one other table occupied. Several people came to sit down after we arrived and left without even ever being acknowledged by the staff. We waited and ordered. I got the Makrona Bashamel with Kofta, salad, and Tehena. The kofta was really flavorful. The Macrona Bashamel was bland with no seasoning at all that I could notice. The worst disappointment was the Koshary my girlfriend ordered. It was boiled macaroni pasta, plain lentils, a couple of fried onions and what tasted and looked like marinara sauce from a can. No spices, no flavor. I really hope this was just a bad night for the restaurant, but I won't be going back to find out."
