"Gorgeous restaurant with laid back atmosphere serving great pub fare in a relaxing setting. After looking at reviews, we decided on The First Post while visiting York, PA. Fantastic history on this beautiful property that is so tastefully decorated and appointed. Waiter Erick gave us a brief history of the building and provided stellar service during our visit. This is a great place to sit back, enjoy the setting, have a great meal without feeling rushed. We opted for the Crab Cake BLT. It was served on a large, thin and crispy English muffin. It was sheer perfection. Order it, believe me, you will be glad you did. Perfectly and artfully prepared, it was hot, fresh and delicious. Also ordered was the Filet Mignon, served rare. It was also visually very appealing and every bite was mouth watering. If ever in York, PA., stop in, ask for Erick and enjoy your evening."
