"Had an amazing opportunity to have all of our kids and their significant others together for one evening over the holiday. First time in 5 years. This place was perfect. Everyone had a great time and it allowed for everyone to catch up while making some really nice keepsakes from the evening. Staff was awesome. Worth the money for us. 100 x better than a restaurant."
"I recently visited this store and met the owner as well as another employee. I had a gift card that I wanted to use and they were beyond amazing. They were so friendly and the stuff in their store is so unique and beautiful! I can’t wait to go back and make something of my own. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to be around people who are truly kind and love what they do!"
"Recently attended the cozy trees workshop which was a lot of fun! Previously participated in the pumpkins ones which was also a great time. Will definitely be looking into more workshops in the future!"
"SUCH A FUN DAY! We went to AR Workshop as the intro to a bachelorette weekend! The bride and the rest of the group had an absolute blast! The owner, Jennifer and her associate were awesome! Both so kind, helpful and knowledgeable! Will absolutely be back."
"UPDATE TO RESPOND TO OWNER: No one ever reached out to me. A manager called my mother, who was a different customer and who also paid separately. The manager had no rapport with me, as I do not even know her name. As I said in the class, and what is clearly visible in the pictures is that pieces of wood ripped out. It was not just the paint. This was not an easy fix, which you acknowledged when you came over. After speaking to another AR Workshop, this wasn’t anything she had ever heard of. You did not offer anything to me besides making a new project for me, which I’ve already said defeats the purpose of your business. You were very preoccupied making a frame for a dog painting to sell to another customer. The rest of the time was spent weeding other stencils. It’s very frustrating to post an honest review of a bad experience only to have an owner be dishonest in their reply. I do hope that you learn from your experiences and attempt to provide better service and more knowledge to future customers. We will never be back. My mom and I had been so excited for this workshop after having a wonderful experience at a different AR Workshop. When we arrived, we were told where our seats were and then the owner didn’t speak to us again for 20 minutes. She finally told us that we could start by sanding our boards while she finished getting our projects ready. She then had to go into the back to cut our stencils. The boards were poorly cut with fringe hanging off, and my mom’s boards were very warped, which the owner said was how all 1x6 boards come (which I know isn’t true after having created projects with the same size boards that weren’t warped). We were given used foam brushes to stain the wood, which isn’t the correct tool. When she came back out, she told us that we had to weed our own stencils. I had stained and painted my boards, but the paint wasn’t dry when the owner told me to put the stencils on. When I said the paint wasn’t dry, she said it was fine and had me put them on despite the wet paint. Jennifer (the owner) seemed quite preoccupied with other tasks, rather than hosting the workshop; we didn’t have much additional interaction with her until I went to remove my stencils and finish my project. When I went to take the stencils off, the paint and pieces of wood came with it. I was on the verge of tears. Jennifer didn’t seem to notice, until I said anything. From across the room, said that it would be an easy fix. When she came over to our table, she saw the problem. She offered to remake the project for me, which I wasn’t interested in. She never offered either of us the opportunity to remake the project. Since the quality of the back board wasn’t something that I could work with, my mom and I left that evening with our projects incomplete and very dissatisfied with our experience. No one reached out to us to rectify the situation, despite it being very clear how we felt. Only after my mom posted a negative review did anyone reach out. The atmosphere at these workshops we’ve been to has been a fun, inviting environment where the person running the workshop really spends a lot of time with everyone, gives helpful advice and really makes it a fun experience. They also have all of your supplies ready when you come in. No part of our evening was fun, besides my mom and I talking with each other. The only contact anyone made to either my mom or myself was when the manager (rather than the owner, who ran our workshop) called my mother after seeing her negative review. The owner then replied to the review. No one has reached out to me to attempt to fix any of this, even though I left last week on the verge of tears, with an incomplete project in my arms."
