"DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL HERE. Awful professors. They will degrade you for asking questions. They will refuse to give you help. Professors frequently make fun of patients and patients illnesses. It’s honestly a disgustingly run school. I would advise you to apply elsewhere at all costs and to disregard all 5 star reviews. Unless you want to go to a school that is run strictly like a business and not like a medical college where students are treated less than human. Please do yourself a favor and apply somewhere else. Don’t waste your time. I’m honestly not sure how it’s even still an accredited medical school."
"Forced my child to get a Covid shot 2 months before graduating before they would give her her degree. Absolutely irate they forced my child to sit in a separate room for 3 years and was ridiculed constantly for not having the vaccine which is a persons CHOICE. Then held back her degree because she didn’t want the Covid shot because not enough research was done on it. Now we are finding out it causes blood clots, stroke, people are dropping dead from the shot. Schools should NOT be involved in people’s medical decisions such as taking a vaccine in order to get your degree. Absolutely despicable!"
"Went there for a possible blood clot was given a X-ray and sent home with a prescription for a doppler scan the next day if she was still alive they messed up"
"I am not a student at Lecom, however, one of my best friends is, and the stories I hear from them are remarkable to say the least. My first thoughts and questions when I’m listening to the horror stories is "who are the donors for Lecom, and why are they supporting such an old school oppressive and totalitarianism environment as if Lecom were a highly accredited institution." I’ve heard of hazing, I’ve heard of an elimination process and weeding out ‘the weak’, but from what I hear of Lecom is they lack coordination between its students and educators; and furthermore, blames the students without much accountability on the institutions part in course material mishaps or class schedule conflicts. If this was a personal or intimate relationship that behavior would be considered gaslighting, which, as we know now, has highly detrimental and long term mental health effects."
"The staff I met while interviewing at LECOM Bradenton were exceptionally nice and helpful! They were able to answer all questions and were very welcoming. I also met a third year student ambassador who was just as nice, helpful and welcoming! I highly recommend considering LECOM as a choice for Pharmacy, Medical or Dental school. Personally, LECOM is the only school I applied to for the PharmD program because I was highly interested in the Distance Education pathway they offer. LECOM also offers two other pathways for the PharmD: 4 year in-person in Bradenton, Florida and 3 year accelerated in Erie, Pennsylvania. As a side note: I was not disappointed in putting all my eggs in LECOM’s basket for my PharmD, as I have been accepted as a member of the Class of 2027!"
