The Paramount

"I am in my third lease term at the Paramount and intend to renew again. The staff is great, especially the fine maintenance crew (shoutout to the wonderful Sosa and Delante) and the new but excellent Leasing and Property Managers Daisy and Vonetta. Is the place perfect? No, but the staff makes up for it. The building is built like a tank, and is therefore far quieter than any of the surrounding buildings I have been in. When there are issues (my side of the building seems to have "water events"), the staff is super responsive and efficient about fixing them, and genuinely nice. I like it here and would not trade it for a fancier place."

"The apartment's communication needs improvement; they often don't reply to emails or pick up calls. You'll have to deal with a somewhat unprofessional and unfriendly front desk. On the upside, the location is excellent, and maintenance is top-notch. However, the nearby construction site, formerly Americana Hotel, generates constant noise due to its history as an Amazon storage site, recent demolition, and upcoming new construction. In addition, I've encountered billing issues as they failed to check my email notice of not renewing the lease. This resulted in them charging me more than necessary. What's even more concerning is that they haven't refunded the extra amount they charged or returned my security deposit. Despite multiple attempts to contact them via email regarding these financial matters, I have not received any responses. Update: I received the check and as expected, no one checked my emails yet."
