The application process was smooth and fast, allowing me to sign the lease in record time. I moved in several days ago and received my online purchases without any issues. It feels wonderful to live in a brand-new apartment."

"Don’t let the recent reviews of tours fool you. This apartment is not worth the money. First and foremost the property manager Lauren is rude, condescending, and does not care about the tenants. If you plan on touring, please ask about the “fresh air” that they are constantly blowing into your apartment (there’s no way to turn it off). It’s currently blowing cold air in my apartment which is counteracting the heat that I’m paying to keep on so my apartment stays warm. Also the AC/Heat has a fan that is constantly running. It never turns off unless you physically turn the thermostat off. There are no breed restrictions on dogs but they make the ESA process nearly impossible. They said they host events but they don’t (outside of workout classes and free coffee the first of the month) . For the coffee machine it is limited to 10 cups per month unless you want to pay for them. In building 2, there is rarely a concierge available at night and if there is, they are extremely rude. Things that are left in the Amazon locker by UPS and FedEx are a headache to get because they don’t send the codes to the right email. Overall - there are other apartments less than a block away with better staff, better pricing, and ones that truly care about their tenants."

"I love it here! The staff is so nice & always helpful. The rooftop is gorgeous & fun to have as an added space. The decor in Phase 2 is so cute & full of color. I've been here for 3mo & so far nothing has ever disappointed."

"Phase II is the newly built building and there is currently no waitlist on parking!! Genesis made the entire process very easy! From making the viewing appointment (she also sent over videos prior to the in person tour) to signing the lease (arranging the loading dock and other moving amenities) She seamlessly executed it all!! if you want a tour, ASK FOR GENESIS! The building, amenities and location speaks for itself, but she (as well as other wonderful women in the office) made Meridian on First stand out even more. My #1 choice (i also viewed 6 other apartments in Navy Yard in 1 day)."
