Little People Day Nursery

"I signed my son up this past September and had to pull him after 3 weeks. He was going 3 days a week. They have a lot of expectations from a 3 year old. First the child needs to be fully potty trained, wipe themselves and wash their own hands because they are to under staffed to help a child out in the bathroom. Second this was my sons first time doing anything structured without me because he was home with me and his autistic twin brother so adapting was really a struggle for him. I think a child needs for time then 3 visits to school to adapt to something new. First day of school was Sep 6th. I got a first phone call SEP 11th then again Sep 17th. I then set up a meeting to speak about what the problems were. They tried to make it seem that my son had some type of diagnosis because he would try to run away from the class or wasn’t comfortable with talking. And was only saying “oh no”. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was like ok maybe they picked up something I didn’t. I went ahead and got him evaluated and was 100% fine and in range for everything. All this to say just be careful this place is under staffed and instead of saying this they will make you feel like your child has behavior issues or your child has a diagnosis. Fifteen 3 year olds to 2 adults is not enough staff to start off school for the first time in my opinion."

"I don’t even have the words to express how special this place is. My daughter does half day 4 year olds and she absolutely loves it. She looks forward to going to school, loves her teachers, and has learned SO much. The teachers and staff are so kind, patient, and truly love what they do. They do so much for the kids. They take them on trips, do many learning activities and crafts, and truly care about these kids. I cannot believe how much my daughter has learned in such a short amount of time. Sending your child here is the best decision you’ll ever make for them."
