Soupy Island

"Pros: staff is friendly, carousel, slide, and playground equipment are in great shape. Facility grounds were clean. Big, big con: the rules for swimming are ridiculous. I went with a 9 and 10 year old. In order to enter the pool we had to stand in a line and go through a foot bath and shower rise. We had to leave our shoes outside the fence of the pool area. My kids had to take a swim test in order to swim in the deep end. No big deal! However, I, a grown woman who was only there to supervisor my kids, get some sun and read a book, had to take a swim test also. I had to take the test in order to sit on the deep end side where my kids would be swimming. There was no seating on the swallow end side so I had no choice. So very angry. After I went through that fiasco and only after 15 mins, all the pool patrons were asked to leave the pool and get back into the line so they could let another group in. We were not in a group. We were only three people and only two of us were swimming. It is very unfair. The pool area was very crowded. There were alot kids who were bussed from summer camps I'm assuming. In conclusion, Soupy Island gave me concentration camp vibes with the way we were filtered into the cattle shoot and all rinsed off like we were dirty. Never again!"

"What a great place for kids! You can totally spend the whole morning there. Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed the free milk, snacks and soup! The shallow pool is clean and had 4 lifeguards keeping an eye out. There was so much space and it wasn’t overcrowded at all!"

"I use to come here back in the 80's with the daycare I use to work with loved it. I took my grandchildren here in July 2023 and they loved it.
