"I’m leaving a review because a good business deserves it! It all started with googling “Nursing Schools” that lead me to the website. It literally had everything I needed to know. I only then still needed to call because it said, you need to tour. Which, I highly recommend! It was beautiful and smelled really good. I spoke with Bobbi (who was great by the way), and she gave me a tour and additional information about the scholarship partnerships they have. Since, currently they don’t take financial aid. Once I had everything, they required for submission I was able to schedule the TABE exam. I have been out of school for a very long time, so Bobbi informed me of the TABE study books available for purchase. At first, I was like nah, I’m not spending my $ on that. However, after a few online practices I realized, I needed the books! So, my advice is buy them! It has everything you need to relearn. Especially, if you have been out of HS for a long time (like me). Not to mention the material was very similar as the test (which I passed on the 1st try). So, it is a MUST! This school is not only an evening nursing program for the working individual, but they offer small class sizes. This allows you to get the personal attention you normally wouldn’t get in other nursing programs I researched. So far, it’s been a great choice for me."
"I went there today and met with the Director and the Counselor. They were so nice tome and explained everything to me. The Director answered all my questions that I had and she was very thorough. I would recommend this new establishment to any person's interested in getting into the Healthcare Industry. They are new to our area. They have small classes to accommodate everybody. You will get more one to one with the instructor. I look forward to becoming an LPN from this establishment."
"I have wanted to be in healthcare as it's a passion of mine and I had taken and passed a CNA program right before COVID came out. I went as far as being put on the schedule with a local nursing home but they were needing me to wait until I could start working but it wasn't for another several weeks and I needed an income. I am going for Bariatric surgery soon and my plan was to finish the phlebotomy course I am interested in and then to hopefully be accepted into a nursing program but I had asked what was required for the religious exemption because I didn't know what the exact criteria was for the school. So I was really only told to send one and they do approve them, all of that. I had been trying to email the school since last week to get an update on if it was reviewed or accepted, I just didn't know what to expect. I had spoken to the director today and I was very nice and understanding. I had sent in an exemption with a professional template where a portion stated under title vi etc. and I think she had taken offense to it because she sounded upset and stated for me to write this and state that a school must not discriminate and must accept a student if they have a religious exemption...that I would need ro change the verbiage. I don't want to cause an issue but it made me feel a little uncomfortable because this is why I was asking what the criteria was for the exemption. I think there was some miscommunication because yes I am Christian and believe I do not need a COVID vaccine, I am not against making sure others are protected. I kind of now feel that no matter what I write I won't be accepted to the achool. I am sad that this was the reason out of all things that I seemed to be judged on when I am an exemplary student and loving person who just wants to be able to help others, I just wish a vaccine exemption wasn't standing i the way of this :/ I was told look around to other schools and I won't lie I felt very discouraged after this phone call :/ I applied to a different school and will see if they can help me I guess because I was really hoping to have gotten into the school but now I just feel like I wasn't really given a chance and no one had met with me yet to discuss this, it did take me quite a few times to reach out and get a response. I understand this is a new school, I just kind of was hoping for a more pleasant conversation as I even apologized over the phone when she stated you should have left that part out about the title vi. I apologize but this is why I was trying to ask about what the letter should state....I kind of feel uncomfortable. Edit: However I do love the idea of a LPN program though and wish there were more schools around here for it as it's my passion so I am not trying to spread hate, just wish I was talked to before hand and what not to put etc. :) thanks!"
