"Just moved into Delray Central, and I absolutely love it so far. The location is excellent and having access to the use the added amenities across the street is such a nice touch. Highly recommend moving here if you are looking for a place to live!"
"I love this building! The amenities are gorgeous. The management team is very responsive, and friendly. The maintenance team is always courteous and takes care of my work orders promptly. The location of this building is everything. You can't go wrong with Del Ray Central! Super recommended."
"Del Ray Central used to be a great place to stay.... until recently. This past summer, management changed as well as the quality of the building and the services provided. I personally have spoken with over 30 different residents here who are all experiencing the same grievances. Here are some of the things that have been going on.... 1. Water Bills: The water utility service changed (for no reason given once new management took over) which resulted in higher water bills. Multiple residents have complained about discrepancies in charges without a reason for the upcharges. Instead we received an email describing two line items: one for water, the other for sewage. This unfortunately does not justify the increase in water prices. 2. Dog Waste: Throughout the entirety of the summer, dog waste was found in the stairwell and hallways. Though the management team did clean the waste up each time, it took them months to finally send out a notice (this month) to residents to clean up after their dogs. And only one notice went out. Notices should go out each and every single time there is an incident reported. 3. Unscheduled Repairs: As a person who works from home, I would expect to receive advanced notice from the management team (as we had before) when work is being done on the property. Construction on a number of balconies were done without early warning to the residents. Those who are home during those times need to have an opportunity to make prearrangements so that their day is not interrupted. This happened on multiple days for hours on end with nonstop banging, drilling, and loud thuds from old material being dropped from top levels. 4. Non-Secure Dog Park: The dog park has been without a lock for almost a year now. It is meant to be for residents of 3051 and 3061 only. There used to be coded bike locks on the gates so that only residents had exclusive access. This used to be an amenity for those who are on a lease. However, the management team has yet to address the issues of people from other buildings and people from all over the neighborhood using the park. Young kids from the neighborhood also play in the park without a dog or adult supervision. This has resulted in unknown owners not cleaning up after their dogs, an increase in virus scares, stolen dog toys being found behind the neighborhood, and avoidable confrontations. 5. Reduced Amenities: The Business Center has been reduced to the bare minimum. The coffee machine, water dispenser, and snack shop were all removed. The printer was removed and replaced with a printer that requires you to "pay" for pages (10 pages for free a month). Come on now.... this is crazy! This management team is now nickel and diming wherever they can. 6. Neglected Curb Appeal: Despite the grass on the sides of the building being mowed, the curb appeal has become hideous. All of the rose bushes are ruined and some of them were completely removed. The bushes are either overgrown or completely dead and have not been replaced. There aren't many flowers like there used to be except over by the plant wall on the side of the building. The flower boxes are not maintained and are covered in bird droppings. The mulch is old and needs to be replaced. The sidewalks are completely covered in bird droppings as well because management does not power wash as they should. The management team needs to step it up and actually care about the residents that live at Del Ray Central. Think about the type of care and ease you would want to have when you select your next apartment residence and if you want to deal with the reduced - or lack thereof - quality of living. Just saying........"
"Del Ray Central seemed like a good choice until living here for 2.5 months. Maintenance requests sit unanswered. The trash room smells every time I go into it and nothing has been done to remedy that. The sidewalk is always dirty. It's like no one powerwashes or sweeps the area ever. Bird poop everywhere and we won't talk about how dirty it is near the bus stop. The elevator has broken down twice since I've been here. It's pretty obvious that it hasn't been maintained on a regular basis. So I've had to walk up 4 flights of stairs in 100 degree weather with my work bags, etc. Not acceptable. Appliances are old and loud, especially the washer and dryer and the washer doesn't get the clothes clean either. Definitely not a luxury experience. I've spoken with other tenants in the building and they feel the same way."
"Stayed here for about 3 yrs in various apartments across the two buildings. The leasing office was amazing. Saybah and Evelyn (think that's her name) were very professional and on point. The main issue we had with the building is the food deliveries and because there were two buildings some of the drivers would mix up the buildings or not deliver the food. The only downfall is that there's no pool here but other than that we loved the building."
