"We stayed in these apartments for few years and we started having bad experience from 2020. There were roaches, bugs, unclean stairs, outside area was not good as well and not maintained. Major problem is management and their staff - We never got the maintenance done on time and had to suffer with dishwasher leaks, sink blockage, toilet blocks. They used to give us bad look when ever we used to visit the office for follow up and still never did it on time they say. When we decided to move from these apartments, we notified them more than a month in advance in portal and email. Still they did not let me know the requirement for giving refund of deposit. When I started asking them after I moved, they started giving list of documents needed and now I could not obtain them from electricity department since I moved and they had system issue. Due to system issue, I could not obtain the document. I had multiple request to management and they did not help."
""Parkridge Garden Apartment in Herndon,VA is a Towing Trap" Beware future and current residents of parkridge garden apartment, Management will issue visitor parking pass more than the parking spot and claim 1st come 1st serve but most of the time 9 visitor parking spot is full, if you park other spot they will tow your car by JDR Towing company and you have to pay $180.00 to get it back, and this happened to me twice, Management dont take action at all. Dont let you hard earning money go by like this."
"The condos are nice enough. A bit tight in the layout; halls narrow, small bathroom, tight kitchen. Closets are big...main rooms too. Just moved in at end of July and repairs were immediately needed. Have made several maintenance requests over the phone and in person that have yet to be resolved. The landscaping is nice. Open plan, good sun in the summer. Winters are shady and cold... Have already had instances with staff interactions, threatening me without all info regarding concern. Poor service. Not looking forward to future interactions."
"Ok where do I even begin? I’m not from around this area, I started in sterling and I had extreme problems. Packages stolen, office staff HORRIBLE so I moved here to Herndon. The office staff is very nice and even translate if you need it! The property manager, “Becky” she is absolutely the best. Not only does she know every single resident by heart but she goes above and beyond to get any and everything done for you and your unit! I’ve had two problems since I’ve lived here and the office immediately responded and had someone at my apartment within the hour of calling. I have never had a property manager hear someone is going through a rough time and do food drives and get school supplies for the kids and even does frequent contest for the children especially during this pandemic!! I would recommend this property a million times again especially since the property is camera monitored which makes me feel even more safe! Great job ParkRidge Staff!!!!"
"I don't normally write reviews but i had such a bad experience with parkridge gardens that I feel I must share. Summary - roaches, mice, hard to reach staff, extremely slow promised repairs, bedbugs scare, predatory towing, hard to get deposit back, moved rent late date. Some stories of what happened to me here Had roaches for the first 4 months. Had mice. The cabinets were in bad condition in the kitchen and it took 5 months for them to be replaced. I was promised they would be repaired after I moved in. Towed my car after I had my licence plate changed. Cost me over 200 dollars. Refused to reimburse me even though this rule was not written down. The towing company is predatory. Ignored lots of my emails and would have to follow up to get a response. Took over there months to get the deposit back. One month of waiting and then two months of follow up communication. Sent me a notice that they were spraying my apartment for bedbugs on the day they were, spraying. I had to move all of my food out of the apartment. It was a mistake and they weren't spraying my place for bedbugs. Rent was always due on the 1st but there was no late penalties until the 5th. Then I received a notice they were moving the late notice from the 5th to the first on the first of the month. There were other problems but you probably get the idea."
