"5 stars on maintenance. 1-2 stars on how they will suck you dry with all the additional costs and fees on top of your rent. Also if you plan to terminate your lease early be careful what is confirmed via email or verbal, their communication and process is entirely confusing. Make sure to fill out the FORM as your formal notice or else nothing else will be set in stone. We wouldn’t have paid an extra $900 on top of the $5,000 to leave our lease if things were more clear. (We had to terminate due to unfortunate circumstances in my family so this was unavoidable). Upon turning in our keys we asked if there will be any other bills that will be charged to us after we leave, they said we are good to go there will be no more bills to come. Now we have to pay a $112 water bill because apparently they bill a month behind. My biggest issue is communication and understanding. We are not the only residents that have had issues with this same scenario. Its like they get a kick out of taking your money. My rent was listed as around $2,482. After $100 pet rent and all the other fees added up, it came out to be about $2,760. Just as an FYI."

"One of the good place to stay in Herndon is Windsor !! the leasing agent Lauren is very patient and helped us to complete the process smoothly , only drawback is we don't have carpets in any of the rooms . Besides that we have raised couple of maintenance requests initially and Vilma from Maintenance Team has arrived the next day and fixed all the problems . I really appreciate her efforts and complete team who all resolved the request's on the immediate next day without delaying ."

"I’ve been a resident here for a few months and we made our first maintenance request today for a failed AC unit. Maintenance sent out Shin within an hour of our request, and 30 minutes later is was repaired quickly and effectively. Best apartment maintenance service I’ve ever received."

"The management company recently changed and sometimes change is difficult. After some growing pains, I see staff increasing and more responsive. Recently I had a leak in my apartment. Apparently it has been going on behind the walls for months. The maintenance and management staff jumped on the situation and called in experts within 24 hours. The damage has been quite extensive and I have been offered many accommodations to make the situation easier. In addition, the care for my belongings has been extraordinary. I’ve lived many places and have never seen a response like this. I cannot say enough wonderful things about how this has been handled. I feel cared for and feel that all staff is knowledgeable, hard-working and kind."

"Since moving here a few weeks ago, I could not be happier with Windsor Herndon! Maintenance takes care of any issues so promptly, and the office team really takes care of your needs. Manal toured us and helped us with our move. She's very professional and very patient walking us through the process. She kept us in the loop every step of the way. They are constantly working on improving the property and it truly shows. The community was already nice when we first moved in but its even more beautiful now.
