"This place is not safe they dont give u notice of wen terminator or maintenance are coming and they will still walk in no matter if u have kids font matter the age i have not been able to feel safe living here at all for a year i have been living here its been hell my neighbor is racist and threatened myself and my kids with her gun and shes still here ur privacy will be invaded"

"I've been here since 2010 and they have 4 different office manager's, i can tell you that the one they have now, Laurie is the best by far. She is fare, helpful, and very understanding. You can see she really cares about the tenants that live here. The office staff are very good at what they do, and take care of any issues right away. Laurie and her stuff are the best so far that we have had in the last 10 years. And the maintenance staff are great and very efficient and polite. "I explained to them prior to applying that my credit was bad. However, they denied me and used some special rental credit agency. I never had any rental issues, evictions, arrests, past-due rent, etc. I had to go through extensive background checks for my job. My work history is great and my rental history is stellar. I am a professional, quiet working mother who keeps to herself. I guess despite all the positives, my credit was the deal breaker. I thought that being that it was low income, they took more than just credit into consideration. Thanks Highland for denying me after calling every few months for years to see when your list was opening up, finally getting word that it opened, gathering all of the paperwork, taking off work to stand in a long line in the sweltering heat and then another line inside, only to be shot down."
