"I have worked in apartments before and for this to be considered 'Luxury' is interesting. It seems that only the property manager really knows whats going on and they decide to share this information with the rest of the staff. Its a very affordable place for 'Luxury' but this also comes with downfalls. Property is frequently stolen and vandalized in the parking garage. Temperature regulation in the apartments seems to not exist. 75 degrees with a thermostat set to 68. The AC chiller and cooler frequently break down and no one knows. My hot water frequently maxes out at 75 degrees. This just doesnt make sense for 'Luxury'. The staff outside the management office are very friendly and helpful."

"The property manager of Palisades of Bethesda, Richard Lashley is exceptional! The building is beautifully maintained and runs like clockwork. Richard has an uncanny ability to hire the best staff. He has a keen eye for detail and is prompt in handling any issues that arise. It's a wonderful place to live because of his dedication and high standards. Southern Management is lucky to have him. The staff is outstanding at Palisades, Bethesda! I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment. I left the painting I was carrying next to my door, while I went to get to the key at the concierge desk. When James and I went back, the painting was missing. I was a frantic. James and Elliot both remained calm, professional and tremendously helpful. James checked the floors, spoke with the cleaning staff and sent an email to the residents. Within an hour, the painting was found on another floor. He went above and beyond anything I expected. Thank you!"
"I really loved living at the Palisades! I lived there for 2.5 years. Pros: walking distance to the metro, great restaurants nearby, no issues with pests or noises, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful and inviting lobby, timely responses for maintenance requests. Cons: I'd just suggest extending notice for the quarterly air filter replacement days more than 24 hours in advance. I lived in a studio and had to leave my unit each time during the teleworking period to allow for social distancing - my boss was always understanding, but this may cause a strain for others working in more inflexible environments. Also, while a Juliet balcony is better than no balcony, it still doesn't allow for much use. Otherwise, I loved my time at this apartment complex. The apartment managers were also kind enough to work with me when I unexpectedly had to change my move-out date at the last minute. Thanks to the Palisades team for providing such a warm welcome to Bethesda!"
"James and the staff at Palisades as well as the overall quality of the apartment and the maintenance staff have made our stay great- we stayed here for 1 year and only left for work reasons. Palisades is truly a wonderful place to rent if you're looking in the downtown Bethesda area for a pet friendly location, the price to quality ratio is hard to beat here, and the leasing staff really do go above and beyond."
