Randolph Square Apartments

"Rented for a year, and started month to month after that. My lease clearly stated that they needed to provide a 90 day notice of a rent increase. It also clearly stated that if I did not renew, It would be month to month starting at the same rate as the last month's rent under the lease. Management insisted that they had the right to increase it by $200, and stated that it was going to increase as much as $500. Rather than fight with them for not providing ANY rate increase in writing, I moved out by providing them a 60 day notice as required. I always paid my rent on time but left feeling like they did not respect me or their own lease agreement. I left the apartment spotless on departure, two weeks before my 60 day notice was up. Management would say I left on good terms, but I left unhappy."

"Randolph Square Apartments is the best place I've ever lived: Very affordable for the location, great amenities, attentive property management team and maintenance staff, regular community events, and a very friendly community of neighbors. Also, our packages never get stolen here. On the downside, it does get very cold in the winter, and noise carries some from apartment to apartment. We could probably benefit from replacing the windows with more energy efficient glass, or putting up curtains. Other than that, I'm very happy here!"

"Ive been living here for around 8 years and my experience in this complex has always been a pleasant one. The staff is always helpful, friendly and with good disposition. If I ever have a problem in my unit they respond fast and always do a great job. The management regularly have amenities for the tenants showing their appreciation to us for choosing this complex as our home. They always keep the surroundings clean, with beautiful landscapes and even a dog park. All in all, this is a superb place to live."

"It's a lot of families and young couples. The walls are pretty thin and the floors are loud/creaky, but you get used to it. Haven't had any bugs which I was honestly surprised by since the rent is a little on the cheaper side (for the region). Walkable grocery, metro, etc. Maintenance is prompt and friendly. I love living here. Better if you have a car, but also not a bad place to live without one."

"Randolph Square Apartments was a great place to call home. I lived there about nine years. Nice location. Great value. Friendly maintenance staff and office staff. I felt safe living there. Great schools. Apartment: Spacious through Apartments with views on both sides of property. Large balcony. Nice in unit washing machine. Most new units are upgraded. Maintenance: Quick service and kept me posted on progress of repairs. Very friendly. I never had problems with pests. Office staff: knowledgeable and professional. Organizing fun community events. Very personable. Property: Very well maintained landscape. Property updates happen every year (examples: new grilling areas, new dog park, refinished pool, picnic area, etc.). Good size storage unit for small extra cost in select buildings. Negative: Neighbors could be better with their recycling."
