"PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF! Management is a joke. Other than Mel. He is the only one that somehow gets stuff done if he is the one who answers the phone. I call after a maintenance request goes unattended over a week at the end of the year and am told by Barry they would come that Friday and to please refrain from a bad review until they make things right. HA! No one came after waiting the whole week. I called back and they said they were unaware they never showed up and that someone will come on Monday. Again, no one came. I understand scheduling can be tricky but that's why phones were invented. Give updates. After 3 weeks of waiting from the original broken promise....a contracted crew came in and left my apartment covered in dust and mold spores. Called and was told that a supervisor is on the way now. Another broken promise! No one showed up! And instead of owning up to their mistakes...they tell me that I have a lack of communication with my boyfriend as someone did show up and was told that everything was fine. Now lets get real....I have a ring camera and they are caught in yet another lie! So i am guessing they went to the wrong building? Wouldn't put it past them to drop the ball in that way. I spent hours cleaning and bleaching every surface as I assumed I would be on my own like usual. After yet another phone call I was told that a supervisor is coming now.......a carpet cleaner showed up. I don't need a carpet cleaner....I just need someone to admit they are in the wrong and own up to their shortcomings. Corporate has been called as well the AGs office for the consumer protection department."
"I originally rated this place a 4 or 5 however since that rating I've been here for 7 months now. My new score of 2 is due to the following... teenagers are smoking marijuana in the hall and sometimes leaving burned paper. I informed mgr about issue due to having a newborn with asthma but no one returned email or calls. The odor comes through the door causing my baby to have an asthma attack. Also, a maintenance man entered my unit without knocking while I was naked one day. I spoke to property mgr Nicole about the situation, however she never followed up nor did she sympathize or have compassion towards me and my new fear of not feeling safe in my home."
"APARTMENT C02721D!! Do not move in here. Beware!! I was suppose to move in on the 19th of January. First the office was very unorganized with the exception of one Alayha, she was helpful, but every one else in the office no help. When I would call to ask questions about my upcoming move the assistant property manager would tell me sh can not get in to my account I would have to wait for alayha, which makes no sense because what if this person is out sick then what I can't move it! When I said this to her she said "well what do you want me to do I can't get in" Moving forward the day of move in I got the keys went to the apartment and when I walk it it was shocking and NOT move in ready at all. List of things wrong : The coat closet door did not shut The carpet stinks like animals Dinner room window locks; one was missing and the other was hanging off Kitchen filthy -stove washer/dryer, counter microwave dirty Kitchen flooring had wholes and lifting up kitchen cabinets was all scratched up ALL OF THEM bathroom ceiling had a whole and the vent was hanging off bathroom tub filthy and cracking around the toilet was dirty floor lifting and around the toilet was cracking. bathroom sink filthy The toilet was leaning to one side (flooring was leaning) It looked like the walls where dirty and they just painted over top Hall way closet had stains on the shelves and dirty The balcony had dog poop and dog hair all over it Oh yeah lets not forget the back there is dents all of the floor its like you are on a carnival ride walking through that house. Hall ways filthy and smell like smoke The only thing that saved me from getting away from this place is they forgot to have me sign the lease, so I went back down to the rental office to address all these concerns and the property manager Nicole Dunston disregarded my concerns and kept asking me to sign the lease and what am I doing "moving in or not' . To be a property manager she was extremely unprofessional not type of apology or sympathy. Thank god I didn't sign the lease I immediately said give me my money I would ever live in a place like that at all. BE WARE OF THIS PLACE!!v just know the leasing office, property manager will not help you at all with any type of concern. Again the address is CO2721 apartment D that is cold stream way apt D"
"As in any apartment or home there are always some issues, but I can truly say that when I call for maintenance, I receive it and they do an excellent job. Today I call because of one of the rooms in my apartment being flooded because of heavy rains. This had been a slight problem before, but I had not reported it. This time I reported it along with other issues and when I returned home from work all of the issues had been taken care of."
"I was very impressed with the community amenities like the swimming pools, fitness center, etc. I especially loved the dishwasher, and a washer/dryer in units. The apartment layout I chose is very spacious and nice. I was so excited about the kitchen garden room area because I have a little eat-in kitchen space, that most apartments don’t come equipped with. I was truly impressed and excited to move-in to the community. That’s why it’s very difficult for me to give negative feedback on my apartment experience, so far. On day one, when I moved in with my fiancé, we started to notice little cosmetic issues with the apartment. Like paint drips on the kitchen cabinet, chips or scratches on the walls, a dark stain spot on the carpet, wasps nests on the patio, cracked or broken window strips/blinds, etc. The only major problem we noticed was the patio screen door sitting on the patio, off the track, and the track was missing. Unfortunately, the screen door could not be a quick fix by my fiancé or father because of that. So, We said that we would take care of those minor issues, once we had settled in. As the days and weeks passed by, we started to notice other issues with the apartment. An offensive “F” word was scratched in the front door. Additionally, the front door is bent or something like that, which makes it very difficult to lock the door properly, without leaning on or pushing/pulling the door. I’m always concerned about this issue. Additionally, The dishwasher doesn’t work at all! There was standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher and every function/cycle on the appliance doesn’t work. The dishwasher is completely dead. On top of that, our garbage disposal doesn’t work. Upon investigation, We found a whole bunch of human hair and other stagnant waste clogged up in the drain and the garbage disposal. The awful stagnant, death smell from the drain is sickening. Yuck!!! When you try to use the garbage disposal, it only hums, but the blades will not chop. When I look down the drain with a flashlight, there’s nothing but rust and disgusting sludge all around the drain and disposal area. The sink and drain backs up with water every few days. And, it’s slowly draining or doesn’t drain at all sometimes. We have to use a plunger and Draino Max every couple days, to try to help with the clogging/drainage issues. I don’t mind hand washing the dishes until they fix the dishwasher. However, having to take care of an almost constant backed up sink or clogged drain, every couple days; is getting to be ridiculous. It’s difficult to properly function in the kitchen dealing with this constant issue. We’ve been here for a little over a month now, and the major issues still have not been fixed or resolved. We’ve contacted Maintenance Services several times throughout the past month, and still nothing has been resolved. I am a very patient person, but this is just getting to be very frustrating, after a month of dealing with this issue. We weren’t able to have a walk through before move-in day because the Leasing office told us that Maintenance was still working on/repairing the property. We didn’t even get to see the property or get the keys until move-in day. So, I am very confused, upset and frustrated with finding all these issues. Maintenance delayed us from seeing the apartment for so long. I would’ve thought that these issues should’ve been resolved before move-in day. I am currently still trying to get these issues resolved. I’m not the kind of person to get legal counsel involved with these matters. But, if I have to seek legal assistance to get this resolved. Then so be it."
