"Love this place! Their outdoor patio in the back is PERFECT for warm days/nights. The pizza is good, the service is great and their beer is tasty and refreshing. I enjoy their different dining areas and am so glad to have a place like this in downtown. The owners are quality people and worth supporting. I highly recommend!"
"What could be better than craft beer flights and pickle pizza??? How about pairing it with some of the friendliest staff and great seating options!! You can watch downtown Charles Town from the front windows or smoke a cigar on the back patio. The selections are excellent and rotate often, giving locals and visitors a great experience every time. Stop by for good music and the chance to beat your table mates at the ring toss. Have a Dirty Beard beer if it’s on tap - you won’t regret it!"
"Nestled in downtown Charles Town, this is a cozy brewery with a good variety of beers, plus a few ciders and local wines. The 5-beer flight in the West Virginia board is a good bet, and you can sit inside or out. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the clean restrooms even have music. My favorite was the Insurrectionist (very dark) brown ale. Update: we were able to visit again this year on "Funksgiving," and 3 of us had flights. My favorite this year was the (red currant) Abolitionist Ale. I really like how this place continues to develop their theme, such as having cards of important abolitionists on the indoor tables."
"Cozy spot for pizza and beer! We sat on the patio and enjoyed local brews and satisfying pizza... even the water was good! The server was very kind and we enjoyed having her. We're a dark brew crew and highly recommend the Dirty Beard (if you like habanero flavor) and West by Quad beers."
