"This place was absolutely wonderful before the new manager took over. Be aware that new manager is charging seniors $100 for a spare key. That used be $10.00. Along with amenities that used to be included now have to be reserved for a $200 dollar fee. Residents are scared to speak, have tried to speak but are shut down. Playing cards, in the game rooms that used to be open areas for residence to relax, now have to be scheduled events. That otherwise they were allowed to enjoy freely. Far as I am concerned this is elder abuse, and needs to Stop these seniors barely have enough money for rent. They should not feel that they have to be in bed by 7pm and they cannot use amenities that are included for an extra fee. PLEASE, STOP the mistreatment, spoken on behalf of the Waverly Garden Seniors."

"My brother and his wife had a 10:00 am appointment today for a tour and possible application. The front desk treated them like trash. Telling them they did not have an appointment and when the front desk realized they did . They were gruff and couldn't bother. This couple have been Howard County residents their entire life!!!! This place is a joke!!!"
"A relative lived here for a few years. Seems like a nice place but she felt too young to be there. She still worked full time and lots of residents were using walkers or much more elderly so it made her a bit depressed. Understandable, I'd feel the same and you might too if you're not of a certain age. Very clean and classy looking inside. Lots of activities to get involved with if that's your thing. They have a huge room that you can use for parties which is nice since the apartments are kind of small. No washers/dryers in apartments so you have to use a laundry room. It has a smell, you know like a nursing home kind of smell, that I don't understand. Well I do because it's for older folks but it's not a nursing home. When she moved out of state, she gave me some of her things and I had to wash everything (and she's a neat freak!) because it all reeked of whatever that building smells like."
