"When I found Dr. DiSalvatore's practice, I was thankful. I have been under his care for over 20 years. He has seen me through many many major health issues. And many minor issues. He knows how to treat the whole body. He teaches me how to read my body. He also will refer to another doctor, when necessary. I have been receiving massage therapy from Kathy Allshouse for about 15 years. Between the 2 of them, they keep me walking, literally! I totally trust this practice. The office staff feel like family. They care. And they do their very best to take care of me. We are a family of 4 generations that receives care from DiSalvatore Chiropractic. From my 85 year old Dad down to my 6 year old grandson. I recommend this practice to everyone. And I have referred many of my family & friends. I will continue to refer."
"I have been under Dr. DiSalvatore’s care for 20+. My children have gone since the week after birth. He has not only treated my chronic joint pain through adjustments, he has recommended supplement care to recover from mono, supplement care to treat my & my son’s allergies, diagnosed 3 broken bones (saving unnecessary trips to the ER), helps keep my son’s orthopedic issues from impeding his daily life. I grew up going to many specialist for chronic issues & have never had a Doctor who has a greater understanding for how the body works, as a whole. He also recognizes when other medical care is necessary - referring my husband to a rheumatologist, my daughter to neurologist, my son to an orthopedic doctor. He is our 1st stop for most everything!"
"I have been getting massages from Amber for over a year now. I was having extreme trigger point issues and some serious pain from rheumatoid as well. I haven't had to utilize trigger point injections in well over 8 months. I also see Amber for reflexology as well. It helps to have a massage therapist who listens to your needs the way Amber does. A+++"
"Dr. Disalvatore has not only done my adjustments but also adjustments for my 4 year old and my 2 month old. I cannot begin to explain the relief my family gets knowing our complaints (big or small) are taken seriously. There is also yoga, massage therapy, cupping therapy, reflexology, reiki, etc. I mean there's even a gym!"
"Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice on any level. It has changed. I was a patient of a different chiropractor in this practice several years ago, she has since left. So, I recently saw Dr. Disalvatore for the first time. He was okay, however for a new patient appointment he only spent about 10 minutes with me. It felt like a regular appointment with an established doctor. It was billed as a new patient appointment which is more expensive. He did not discuss my patient forms with me/ my patient history. I spent more time with his office and other support staff. When I called to schedule the appointment I was told to bring my ID and insurance card. I found out once arriving for the appointment that they now charge a $5 office fee at every appointment that must be paid in the office directly by the patient. Then after seeing the chiro the office staff member tells that that I owe, an additional $25 that day, since I am considered a new patient. Mind you, I met my deductible and out of pocket max for the year. So, I was under the impression it was another new fee that they created. I was not informed/prepared for this and had to use a credit card. The next business day, I called the office to question the charge, I was confused. I discovered that it was as the billing staff there called it a “guess estimate” to what my co-insurance would be for the appointment. I have never had a facility request the co-insurance from me prior to submitting the claim to my insurance company. Apparently, they did not verify my insurance prior to my appointment and just guessed what I may owe. Charging me this amount was the office staff member “doing her job”since they could not confirm my co-insurance with my insurance at an earlier time. It was not clearly explained to me at the office. It was a frustrating experience. I called again and gave the claim number from my insurance company for the service. I should not have been charged in the office for $25. Even with providing the claim number, the office staff still would not refund me. Instead of calling and confirming this with my insurance; I was told that they had to wait to receive documentation from my insurance directly. So the amount stayed on my credit. I was not happy. Several weeks later, I finally received a genetic call from this practice notifying me that they did indeed over charge me. It was not a good experience with the office/billing staff. I was not impressed with the chiropractor. I did not like being charged an (unexpected) office fee out of pocket. It felt like the money was the main focus here, not my well-being. I would not recommend this facility at this time."
