"A friend of mine just moved in the complex. And was told that she has to buy her own fire extinguisher. When the managers are supposed to supply extinguishers for their tenants. Plus her apartment has not been sprayed for bugs."
"I lived there about year ago or so. I had stuff that needed fixed an never got done. My brother came an did the stuff. Always had the one area of my sealing leaking I patched that up but it kept leaking. The cabinets in the bathroom fell off an the paint was chipping bad.. the out lites in my kids room was broke to where the only way they had a light was to keep something plugged in the outlite. Their window never stayed up unless you put something there to hold it up. If you didnt you better move cause it would come right down on you. We have told them plenty of times and they would say ok well fix it well look at it nope.. well I moved out (roommate did not) and the office were suppose to take me off the lease and I just found out that they never did. Alot of traffic left an right at certain apartments. They definitely have their favorites there."
"I live here and love it. I have the sweetest old neighbor I love her. It's a good feel here everyone is friendly & Becky the office manager is the absolute best! She is so sweet and very compassionate. Really cares and helps with whatever you need. I am so glad my family and I moved here. There's also a park for kids. Mine love being outside. Fair prices. Very happy we found polo greene and that Becky is office manager."
"The new leasing manager definitely needs to be replaced. I lived there for almost 5 years, and we had no issues with the other leasing manager. Our apartment was rat and mouse infested for 2 1/2 years, and the leasing manager and maintenance man did nothing about it. Our living room floor was covered in water for 6 months and our new heat pump was never ever repaired. I honestly don't know how the maintenance man is not fired, because he absolutely does nothing to get paid for!!! A resident's child tried to stab and kill my 6 year old grandchildren that were twins, and again the leasing manager did nothing about it. I was taking my dog for a walk on a leash one evening, and I had just had hip replacement surgery, and a resident's pit bull viciously attacked me and my dog, and my dog died as a result of it, and when I went to to the leasing office and told the manager, she tried to tell me that the pit bull dog that had attacked me and my dog, was a SERVICE DOG, for a resident's autistic child. By the way pit bulls are a breed that are restricted from being in Polo Greene. A true SERVICE DOG, would have been highly trained, and never ever would have attacked us. The biggest HEROIN RING is in Polo Greene!!! Trust me if you VALUE your life, your families life, and your animals lives, you will save yourself much heart ache and NEVER EVER move into Polo Greene!!!"
"Lived here for two years. It's income controlled housing with miles of paperwork. Maintenance issues are difficult to resolve. Neighbors are typically selfish and there seems to be a fair amount of unexplainable traffic. Many residents have dogs and fail to clean up after them. Curfews for the underaged are not enforced. Recent new ownership is strongarming renovations and residents are not generally given proper notice or consideration."
