"Definitely need to improve their halo halo. Compared to places I’ve been, they don’t add a lot of toppings and it’s mainly ice. Cashiers need to work on their attitude as well. Dispacable services from the cashier. Only friendly when she knows someone and shows no gratitude for other customers. She needs to get a reality check. Remember the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree."
"I love this supermarket. Its hard for me to get filipino groceries and cooked food in west Texas. This is my primary food shopping store when I come to the DC area for work."
"They do have a variety of filipino snacks, condiments, personal hygiene items, frozen goodies and veggies. But i feel like it's not updated like the corned beef selections they have, hopias and other canned goods, still the old school types. It could be better. Ate's and Kuya's were all the time happy and greeted us while shopping. We also ate at the in house restaurant and there is a lot of homecook meals you can choose from. I dunno but I had the dinuguan but it's salty to my taste. The kalamay and beef empanadas are good tho. I would happily go back and try more stuff (",)"
"I took my 76 year old Filipino mom to this store. She absolutely loved it and the food that was being served. Everyone was friendly and polite. I personally don’t mind the prices. This is a small business and you should support your Filipino community. We do live in the DMV area and prices are normally higher here. We are lucky to have a business that sells cultural foods. I would look at the labels to make sure the food you buy is not expired, like in any grocery store. Nothing I bought was expired. Parking can be an issue but I won’t take off any stars for that. My mom even ate her leftovers the next day. You can make the decision for yourself. Give it a try. She thoroughly enjoyed it."
