Dale's Pet Grooming

"The space was filthy. There was so much pet dander that I was coughing and sneezing for two days after dropping our dog off. I had to send my husband to pick her up. My dog is 13+ and gets groomed every 8-10 weeks and I have never experienced a physical reaction like the one I got from entering this facility. We booked and paid for a full groom, but believe we got much less. Our dog did not smell fresh when we picked her up. She had had dried blood on her chin from earlier that was still there when we picked her up. Her sanitary areas were NOT clean at all!!! I don’t believe the anal gland expression occurred because she was still trying to clear them after her grooming. We would not recommend."

"Awesome place to take my senior dog for grooming. Dale is very sweet, friendly and accommodating. She took Charlie my 14 year old Pom at the last minute. Her property and grooming facility is beautiful. Highly recommended."

"My terriers are all handstripped--a special expertise. Dale is among the finest groomers in the country; capable of show-quality work. Her prices are ridiculously low compared to others. Her shop is often bustling and busy with customers, as one would expect. I'm completely baffled by some of the comments here about fleas (?!) and the like. I've been coming here for nearly a decade, and have never left with a sick dog, a dog with pests, or anything of the sort. Just a clean, well-groomed dog, that is a pleasure to look at and live with, thanks to the work of Dale and her staff."

"Fleas!! I bought my dog in months ago for a grooming and he got fleas. I did not want to pin that on the groomer without being sure that it came from there. It took me months to get rid of the fleas. My pet has been flea free for weeks after expensive treatment. I took him into Dales on Friday and when he came home he was itching really badly. I inspected him and noticed about 7 fleas on him. They clearly came from the groomers. I know Dale is going to respond negatively to this review, as she always does. I hope that you will take this review under consideration and treat your shop rather than berate the customer. There has been other issues with his groomings like a cut here or there or his nails getting clipped too close to where it caused a little bleeding but Dale was always nice and overall did a good job with his groomings and I and I was willing to deal with that but another flea infestation is where I have to cut ties."
